    It would be a cherry on the cake if Kelsey said at the end "It's gonna be three whole hours of clips from Frasier"

    In an interview on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Tina Fey said that her biggest frustration as producer of NBC's 75th-anniversary special was dealing with ALF's "people". Fey said Fusco would only allow ALF to appear on the show if the puppeteers were hidden from everyone else. After ALF's cameo alongside former Family Ties star Michael Gross, ALF disappeared through a hole in the riser, was stuffed into a case, and immediately removed from the building.

      Yeah I've heard stories that the guy who controlled ALF was a huge pain to work with, which is why (for those of you reading the comments who don't know this) as soon as the final episode was wrapped up the guy who played Willie on the show walked off set and didn't come back for that project A.L.F. movie they did to try and fix the cliffhanger the show ended on.

    6:52 Quite a change from the 1986 60th anniversary special, which had an entire segment on daytime TV. Also, that category of programming was already mostly dead as of 2002.

    Why weren’t Max Wright, Anne Schedeen, Andrea Elson, or Benji Gregory seated next to Alf? Why wasn’t Michael Gross with Michael J. Fox, Meredith Baxter or any of the other Family Ties cast?

  • @YeoYeo32
    @YeoYeo32 2 года назад +3

    They meant that no daytime clips as I recall (let’s be honest, Days deserved to be honored for how bat sh** crazy it was in the 90s)

    Unlike the other two major networks NBC had a big to-do on their NBC 75th reunion movies and episodes of past shows, a bob hope special etc.
