How on earth did you design and make a gun that can shoot through metal cans with cardboard? This is amazing stuff. I hope channels like these never are forgotten.
The gun is very powerfully because of the butane he added in the cartridges. There is a literal explosion inside of the shell. That’s why it is way more powerful than his other rubber band-powered guns. Sorry for being a nerd.

The mechanism is actually the easiest part of this gun, as the positive and negative ions meet, they create a catalyst for the flammable gases in the shell, then, the gases in the shell rapidly expand, pushing the snugly fit bullet out at a high speed

Я олд этого канала ,я смотрел эти ролики когда мне было 6 лет и после многих лет я решил сделать что-то картонное и стреляющие и нашёл этот канал, отлистал в начало канала и увидел тот самый пистолет который пытался сделать очень давно, из-за этих видео я начал делать ножи из дерева и оружие из картона, в школе я продал много ножей , до сих пор я делаю поделки ,этот канал меня давно вдохновил и вдохновляет сейчас продолжайте делать такие прекрасные ролики огромное вам спасибо!

Can you explain the launcher system? I can't quite grasp what happen with the trigger, the 2 nails+spring and everything else in it
It's a chemical reaction
That spark plug he took from the lighter is the key. Basically, he remade the lighter into a freaking .50 cal sniper rifle. The idea is that the bullet casings are loaded with propane gas. The metal plugs and nail at the end of each casing creates an electrical spark when electricity from the spark plug runs through them causing combustion of the gas in the chamber which propels the shot forward. The truth is, you can pretty much get the same reaction by simply taping the wires of the spark plug to the metal part at the end of the casings and clicking the trigger. He just made it cooler and more purposeful. Everything else is just wiring to bring the electric charge from the spark plug all the way to the casing....

@@vkarvanzer4243 indeed. The same principle works if you know how to alcohol guns and butane guns work. The only difference is, this thing uses the "shell casings" as "tanks" to store the propellant, unlike in alcohol guns where we just use a large tank.
I'll be honest though, i'm impressed that the cardboard held well in containing the combustion inside the shell casing.
This is definitely hands down my new favorite design

I tried to do some a few years ago with adhesive tin foil for the electric contact inside the case, it worked just once but with airsoft BBs it was pretty powerful
But i still have a question : do you have a success/fail rate for your cartridge ? How long can you keep your ammos filled with gaz before it's unusable (cause absorbed by the cardboard shell or just dissipated) ? Is there a specific air/gaz ratio that you use for a maximum firing success rate ?
