I just don't like that pmcs do not travel around the map, you just find them standing around a pmc heavy area DOING nothing. No noise made, you jump into a room and find 4 pmcs standing and they gun you down instantly
anyone else notice that the ai will be oblivious to you right up till you ads at them. a few time know iv seen a scav off at a pretty good distance and the second i ads to get a better look the turn straight to me and start getting aggressive. (not saying its a good or bad thing just that i noticed that)
yeah wasnt sure if it was the game's intentional design, i thought it was the AI simulating how in PVP, PMCs could be friendly towards scavs. but idk how purposeful that is because they never let you hang around. I can't tell if its either a programmed delay of reaction so you can choose to engage or leave, or its for immersion. My guess is its to buffer the time of the AI locking onto you through bushes and stuff so it feels less BS (you get killed in the open after checking around for a sec, versus just dying instantly when you round a corner)
yeah, this really ruins the emmersion for me personally at times. I love semi auto marksman rifles. You really can't stealth at all in PvE which sucks. They shouldnt insta aggro when ADS'd

I can go run PvE woods and run to USEC camp and extract 100/100 times with NO AI PMC ENCOUNTERS, it's just fucking dumb. Put in a little effort BSG, I know PvE wasn't on the menu originally but fuck, hire the SAIN AI guys to get your shit working better, do SOMETHING. I know it probably isn't a big deal to most PvE players, if they wanted the PvP experience they would just play that. My view of this comes as someone who's entire group of tarkov friends moved to PvE and I got dragged along with them and can't help but notice all these cracks in the foundation.
From a business POV, it doesn't make any sense for BSG to hire people to make better AI since PvP still is their main money maker, the PMC AI on PvE is easy to predict, which is exactly what PvE players need, since they're too scared to play against other human to begin with, no need to make it better.
They might cry if the AI was as good as the Bosses since that's actually what playing against really good players feels like, they actually take lethal shots.

I was on lighthouse sniping last night two scavs came to loot a pmc I killed. I killed first scav while he looted. Second crouched to loot and started spinning his head all over like he was trying to avoid a headshot. Maybe a bug but was cool lol
LOVE IT! My friends and I have played nothing but PvE due to the faster load in time, no cheaters, and guaranteed NO WIPE. We all work 40+ hour work weeks so when all hop on together we really don't wanna have to worry about sweats, rats, or cheaters. And getting into a raid in about half the time has greatly improved my friends and Is tarkov experience. THANK YOU BSG
I haven't finished the video yet so ill remove this if mentioned: bosses like shturman and sanitar get deleted by ai pmcs, especially since it seems they spawn next to bosses every time bosses spawn in your raid. It may be incorrect since i dont use esp, but this seems true especially for shturman. Doing hunting trip and woods keeper is very tough atm, even running from the best spawns while popping an sj6 results in them laying 5 feet deep before you arrive. Some pmc spawns need to be adjusted
Yesterday, i spawn in spawn in garage on ground zero, and pmc must swapn in Park area becuse i die from grenadie just after spawn. That was the biggest tarcov bullshit i ever see.
SPTs SAIN mod is what I would consider "good AI" I also want the PMCs to wander or even hit loots spots to make the instance feel dynamic and a little less predictable.
Ive been playing pve since day 1 and the pmc's tuning is always very heavy on the pendulum either they are geared up scavs or mythical mini-bosses there never seems to be the in-between. I understand that asking for perfection is hard to get but if the consensus is "level 60" is to hard take them to "level 50" not "level 5" and go gradually down. Also need to use the surveys more, i think we have only have one question given to us for a survey. But yeah this is the longest ive played straight and not just stopped because i couldnt get tasks done and unlock ammo and things that would make me competitive.
i think that PVE is amazing it adds a great aspect to an amazing game , especially not having cheaters or 5k+ hrs decimating you. you can have fun play at your own pace and do thing YOUR way you are in total control at all times !

Im a timmy 1 month playtime, i get killed once every 10 raids before i even completely spawn in. Once every 5 i get head throat one tapped by a chad ai and a couple times ive seen just an absolute mess ton of pmc all grouped up. Max 5, kill 1 and 2 sprint towards you finish them start reloading/healing and another 1-2 start to push. Its very different than my pvp experience.
The other thing with marked keys or expensive keys in general is if you dont like what spawned its just alt-f4 to win due to it be hosted locally (excluding streets)

Right before this last update this behavior is most definitely brand new. However it's not too ground breaking essentially just flanking around. But it is a step in the right direction
Boss spawns are currently at ~10%. It will slowly increase as we get closer to next wipe. Not sure the spawn rate of goons but I assume it’s similar or slightly higher?

I've waited them (Goons) behind crackhouse, let them push me and killed all of them. That happened only one time however.Sometimes Big pipe pushes me and i kill him, and I often find birdeye running bugged under the staircase of stronghold, no matter if i shoot at him he doesn't even turn around.Sometimes there's no trace of Knight even if i've already killed the other two. That being said the spawn rate is really high.
I was shooting a scav in the chest in full auto and he didn’t flinch at all looked at me and head eyed me with buck shot from about 200 feet away lmao. Also stun grenades do absolutely nothing to the AI what so ever. I shot the stun shotgun right into a PMCs face from about 3 feet away and he turned and head shot me with absolutely no issues at all.
I either find a dumb ai player or an ai player that immediately shoots me in the face there is no in between lol at least they use to yell first now they dont
Flea market wise the mortar Event saved me 5 Millions buying the last 6 miliitary Power Filters now for 2 instead of 2.9 Millions ,because everyone sells the 2 from the starter quest for Quick money
Adding PVE is the best thing they could have done, especially since fighting cheaters has become more of a chore than a duty for us and the devs. They just need to mirror the two modes completely and let us PVEers enjoy the same content at our own pace.
I been playing PVE for a good minute now i enjoy it alot it made me come back to the game for once. One thing i will say is the Ai can be annoying because theres times where i get one tapped and agro from the weridest spots i feel like if they tweaked the Ai just a bit so there not all chads it would be much better and for player who dont play much the Ai can be a bit harder yeah there can be bugs that do need some fix but other than that i learned a lot in PVE great to get a feel of the game before u play PVP or just PVE is great to.
I’m lvl 65 in pve, hit kappa in a month but I was kinda no lifing it, the ai is too inconsistent during day time raids, I always prefer night raids even without Nvgs. If you have nvidia control panel you can adjust the settings easily to see at night.
i came back to the game because of pve , and having nots played for a few years , the relearning curve is in sane , making money is not a problem . learning stuff has my brain working out . i stop playing because of the heat scopes and being one tapped like the goons do now

I agree with the big flaws; I enjoy both PvP and PvE but stopped playing PvE because of huge issues with AI among other things. However, PvE has a way lower barrier for entry than SPT. With SPT you have to install it and mod it and there's a lot of mixed information on how this works. There's also a lot of info saying you'll get banned for playing SPT (this might be false but it doesn't change the fact that the info is out there). PvE is simply just to click a button (if you have EoD).
I used to play SPT and don't get me wrong the the game feels amazing, good AI awesome mods, but the only reason I stopped and switched to PvE is because of the updates and no wipe, if I have SPT and there is an Update in tarkov like mortar strike event, I need to install the latest version and resetting my whole progression while on PVE I just update my game and I am good to go and dont loose my progression...
regular tarkov pve and spt feel super different imo and i cant easily jump into a raid with my friends on spt. plus theres usually a 1-2 month wait time when ever tarkov gets wiped/has a big content drop.
What do i do when ive reached journeys end in PVE though, personallly i think im addicted to the thrills of pvp. Stacking 5 quest in one raid, about to complete raid then dies to tarkov bs, cheaters, bugs or exploits. I think i just like getting fcked honestly im having too much fun with it XD
AI difficulty is more buffed then on PVP. I have bosses shooting at me from weather station while I'm at radio antenna at NIGHT. Tegila I empties a 60 round drum of 5.56 in his legs and he just shrugs it off. Utter bullshit.
bought tarkov many years back. I'm not at all a good enough video game player to enjoy the pvp content. It's just very frustrating and basically snail like progression. With PvE I actually started to enjoy the things the game does pretty well. I love the options I have, to control my character, actually like that there are quest in a shooter game. I like the progression system - yet I don't have the hang of it. PvE just enables me to actually learn the game. The game has massive issues, but many of the concepts are great. ps: I'm not an absolute moron either
Yeah, I bought the game years back, but due to the massive learning curve, I had to stop playing. There was just too many variables at once, and it'd become too much after a certain point. I'm hoping this makes it a little more smooth of a learning experience.

I wish see some more solo pmc, always seeing duo's and trio's. One time on shorline i saw, two seperate pmc duo bumping to eachother, next they past a scav, and suddently all of them turn and look at me, and star shooting. That was so werid.

Once they finalize it they need to force wipe PVE. To many people abused glitches and that's why the markets so over inflated, to many people have ridiculous amounts of money and can easily manipulate the market leaving new players grinding upon hours for one item.
Have you been the price for pve mode? It's unheard of. I have the base game and I paid 90 CND for it and to upgrade to PVE mode, I have to pay another 200$ USD which equal to almost 300$ Canadian on top with convertion fees on there sites. PvE Tarkov is a troll. Might as well play with the cheaters on PvP. Goons and rogues track you from spawn. No point in being stealthy as the instant they can see you, you're dead. I have also spawned in next to Partisen or whatever its name is and died instantly at least a half dozen times. I literally spawn in dead. I miss old school PvP tarkov... before the streamers with their absurd demands ruined it. Realism went to shit. Weapon balancing... literally fake as hell just for streamers. Game is ruined. The green flare extract on streets don’t work..
You should get a message on the bottom left of your screen saying use a flare. It works for me.
the one on ground zero has been a roll of the dice as well, ive died several times after popping the flare. Ive given up on those extracts..

on woods too very weird i never even knew they spawned on the whole map till i was suddenly dead

Unpopular opinion but they need to increase the flea tax on items to help with the ridiculous market in pve.

The fact that AI don’t fight each other makes me not play it. SPT is the way to go. Blows my mind that people that play PVE just don’t jump into SPT.

However, PvE has a way lower barrier for entry than SPT. With SPT you have to install it and mod it and there's a lot of mixed information on how this works. There's also a lot of info saying you'll get banned for playing SPT (this might be false but it doesn't change the fact that the info is out there).
PvE is simply just to click a button (if you have EoD).
I used to play SPT and don't get me wrong the the game feels amazing, good AI awesome mods, but the only reason I stopped and switched to PvE is because of the updates and no wipe, if I have SPT and there is an Update in tarkov like mortar strike event, I need to install the latest version and resetting my whole progression while on PVE I just update my game and I am good to go and dont loose my progression...
Spt isn't really that special. The AI are still bad.

regular tarkov pve and spt feel super different imo and i cant easily jump into a raid with my friends on spt. plus theres usually a 1-2 month wait time when ever tarkov gets wiped/has a big content drop.
There's a bug with gunsmith 25 where you don't get the pkm barter does it work for anyone?

returned from pve to pvp mode, played one game and was killed by a wallhacker.
What do i do when ive reached journeys end in PVE though, personallly i think im addicted to the thrills of pvp. Stacking 5 quest in one raid, about to complete raid then dies to tarkov bs, cheaters, bugs or exploits. I think i just like getting fcked honestly im having too much fun with it XD
AI difficulty is more buffed then on PVP. I have bosses shooting at me from weather station while I'm at radio antenna at NIGHT. Tegila I empties a 60 round drum of 5.56 in his legs and he just shrugs it off. Utter bullshit.

bought tarkov many years back. I'm not at all a good enough video game player to enjoy the pvp content. It's just very frustrating and basically snail like progression. With PvE I actually started to enjoy the things the game does pretty well. I love the options I have, to control my character, actually like that there are quest in a shooter game. I like the progression system - yet I don't have the hang of it. PvE just enables me to actually learn the game. The game has massive issues, but many of the concepts are great.
ps: I'm not an absolute moron either
Yeah, I bought the game years back, but due to the massive learning curve, I had to stop playing. There was just too many variables at once, and it'd become too much after a certain point. I'm hoping this makes it a little more smooth of a learning experience.

Midway through lvl 71 on PvE. It's been a Blast! Trying to complete every task in the game Is endless fun!
I wish they change difficulty level depends of ai level along with their gear etc. Or if you could hire ai pmcs would feel more immersive or its just me...

One time on shorline i saw, two seperate pmc duo bumping to eachother, next they past a scav, and suddently all of them turn and look at me, and star shooting. That was so werid.
wdym the best time ? it hadn't much time to begin with. Not a high bar to reach right now xD for me, the existance of Partisan made it even worse. Doesn't matter how i play, he will camp somwhere making no sound whatsoever and kill me instantly when i open a door because im the only player on the map he will care about.

Once they finalize it they need to force wipe PVE. To many people abused glitches and that's why the markets so over inflated, to many people have ridiculous amounts of money and can easily manipulate the market leaving new players grinding upon hours for one item.
Have you been the price for pve mode? It's unheard of. I have the base game and I paid 90 CND for it and to upgrade to PVE mode, I have to pay another 200$ USD which equal to almost 300$ Canadian on top with convertion fees on there sites. Biggest scammers I've ever seen in my life. I wouldn't even promote this garbage.

PvE Tarkov is a troll. Might as well play with the cheaters on PvP. Goons and rogues track you from spawn. No point in being stealthy as the instant they can see you, you're dead. I have also spawned in next to Partisen or whatever its name is and died instantly at least a half dozen times. I literally spawn in dead. I miss old school PvP tarkov... before the streamers with their absurd demands ruined it. Realism went to shit. Weapon balancing... literally fake as hell just for streamers. Game is ruined.

Also you still don't get scav rep. For killing a pmc as a scav even if they killed scavs earlier and it's been like this since over 6 months and they even said that they already fixed it ... Gotta love BSG -.-
