If there were a working cookstove, or the means to put one together, among all the loot, you could have cooked off the landmines and likely destroyed most of the loot in the entire pile in one shot.
I don't play DayZ often, but it's really frustrating when you spawn into a town or whatever and get killed instantly but some dickheads who have setup a base like that. You totally did the right thing!!!
I have no knowledge about the inner DayZ maps or mechanisms but if I understood right he just balanced it out which was needed because there were some guys (or clans) which spawn kill other guys and hunt the poor weak players even more down. He just sorted it out and was a bit like Robin Hood kind of... totally respected move there my guy.
We were once raided by an American group that thought they were it. I spent 3.5 hours taking apart their base. I destroyed 3 cars, all their tents and took down not only gates but walls too. I left a note on a single surviving wall that said, "the north remembers" (we were north of them). They left the server.
Glad to see bits of the streams all pieced together! I saw the gunfight at the airfield and it's great to see the rest of that characters life! Thanks again for working so hard to make sure you keep up the YT content while your editor recovers.

It's very interesting that two platforms appear very different. I am on the Xbox and certainly miss the options and mods. I still want survival, but would be great to have more options.

Your content is the reason i reinstalled dayz after not playing for about a year. Made me miss all the randomness the game brings. Started my journey last night and already deep into it on a modded server.

@ericlewandowski6330 it's fun on console but from my perspective (PS) no one talks and it's 100% KOS or be killed. The party systems on console just aren't conducive to having any communication. By the time you would switch from party chat to game chat you'll be executed. Really sucks but that's just the way it is.
I also agree that it wasn't griefing. Spawn campers are the lowest of the low. You saved a bunch of people from having a trash experience so that some others can "have fun". Good show.
This was great. I've been watching this other guy that goes through the effort of building bases and doing raids. It had occurred to me that I'd never seen the running manz raid anyone or even encounter a base for that matter. Inside of a week episode one had dropped. It's like the guy's reading my mind. That said, it was so satisfying to see you get into that base and breaking all their guns. Toxic players deserve that kind of ruthlessness. Every item in those boxes was gained by camping out and merking every player that passed through their sight.

Bases...one of my pet hates on alot of servers...especially those that just make a fortres & try 'dominating' a server by dying, respawning in a safe base, fully geared & back to it..basically cod with a safe zone for you...they can fit in mostly RP servers or people who aren't looking for an apocalyptic zombie game (more arma style pick any weapon even not yet invented guns)..but I've always have & will maintain there's a server for everyone you just gotta find one..but bases in spawn locations- that's a whole new level of debauchery!

The disposing of the weapons in that berezino base has restored some of the natural loot economy in that server for the most part even though most players see weapon destruction as griefing however barezino is a starting area, we shouldn't be seeing military gear this early and the hoarding of this gear especially close to a spawn can become a problem such as the considerable lag in that area especially for those spawning there and that players may give up playing the server after narrowly surviving getting shot in barezino only to leave a military zone with empty hands due to loot spawns being reduced.
38:45 -- I think the thing which most impresses me here is not that They went out and found the Nails necessary for the crates, but they must have lugged all those Planks back to a base inside of Berezino.
Its not that hard with one of the larger bags in the game,1 trip to the treeline with a mountain backpack will give you enough planks for 6 crates plus there is 3 possible plank spawn points right across the road from that base at the hospital, if you have a buddy or 2 to watch your back its easy pickings
As you started back into Berezino, I thought to myself how could this get any better? Opened another Tab on my browser and searched Marty Robbins- El Paso as you started to dismantle the base. 🤣 Video was great but that made the Revenge x10 better. GG 👍

That’s the great thing about DayZ, you can do what you want, whether or not it’s socially acceptable. Normally, if I find stashes, or wormed my way into a base, I’d never despawn, or ruin weapons. Just take what you need and move in. But I’d also not be geared around spawn, killing freshies. So I don’t see anything wrong with a scorched earth policy in this case. Karma 😂.

o7 to the spawn town base FU. I have the same tendency when it comes to bases in spawn towns. I don't normally raid bases as I run a nomadic lifestyle in DayZ, but that is the rare time I would. Keep up the awesome work RMZ!

That’s the great thing about DayZ, you can do what you want, whether or not it’s socially acceptable.
Normally, if I find stashes, or wormed my way into a base, I’d never despawn, or ruin weapons. Just take what you need and move in. But I’d also not be geared around spawn, killing freshies.
So I don’t see anything wrong with a scorched earth policy in this case. Karma 😂.

Should’ve used a plastic explosive and gas canister to ruin all the crates too and then leave any mines they might’ve had and the claymore on a tripwire in the base to really hassle them when they log in
God, the erotic satisfaction of watching all those guns get ruined was sooooo good haha. I would have loved to do that.

Dude what a timely video haha. I was playing on rearmed, where a bunch of sweats made a Uber base in Berezino and I've been thinking about enlisting solos to make an anti-sweat task force. Basically police the try hards from slaughtering freshies are ruining loot spawns along the coast lol
