I can't help finding this whole thing sad. Michael had died, not long after Shane died. Haydn returned to Summer Bay without getting a chance to make up with his dad Michael before Michael died. Sam had already been bounced around a few homes, and then he lost his foster dad. Marilyn's marriage to Phil broke down, which is why she was back in Summer Bay. Nobody can get a break.
