You know how they say no character is bigger than the show itself? In this case it's not true. Pippa and Michael WERE Home and Away throughout those years.
I really loved how Pippa always looked like your normal busy and troubled working Mother & housewife. Make up was all natural. Hair simple or even a bit messy. Clothes not too OTT. All of that blend really made her a lovable chrachter. I think that was the magic of that show. It was all about the real everyday people. I came across a video of their wedding a few years ago but it vanished. Hopefully someone will upload it again. They must have had fun. Getting married twice :-).
Was so sad, he then died in 1996 during that flood. Cannot imagine (if it was real life) the pain Pippa went through after Michael's death losing both Tom and Michael (and her baby Dale). I know someone personally who also lost 2 husbands to death. She has never been the same....

It was a mistake to kill Michael off IMHO and you'd wonder, what for? 18 months later saw the beginnings of Pippa's exit storyline. At least she didn't leave Summer Bay in a wooden box, I suppose.
When Pippa lost Tom, Alf Stewart said to Alisa after hearing the tragic news of Tom, Theres is no Justice Alis, How much more this family have to go through. Poor Pippa didn't have much luck.
I glad Pippa marry Michael they do love each other. It sad that Pippa husbands Michael and Tom both pass away that not fair. I like Home and Away show it deal with real life problems people face everyday. I heard Michael and Pippa are dating in real life.❤️
God, the original Bayside Diner was a great diner... The renovated version was a complete eyesore, quite glad Colleen burned it down, it really was hideous.
The original diner design was a classic for sure but was starting to look really dated and shabby by the end. I love the renovation, it was so 90s. And the different layout changed things up a bit. The only thing I didn't like was no windows...

She lost Tom to death, then her baby Dale and then Michael. It was pretty much for the massive affect on Pippa and her showing of resilience......
Then did the same with Sally and flynn. Just can't stop making them miserable. Pippa was right. They did take Michael away from her. They took Bobby away too. So she did lose them as she said
