- We made a very spontaneous decision and hopped on a plane to... the BEAUTIFUL island of Bali! This place was always on our bucket list! It's filled with jungles, beaches and a unique Balinese culture and we're ready to explore. In this video, we're traveling from Bangkok, with a long layover in Changi Airport in Singapore. Traveling during Covid is never easy, so it was bit stressful. All the requirements that you have to figure out, and of course, test negative for covid. If you are planning to fly to Bali, we hope this video will help you out. And if not, we hope that we can give you some travel vibes to your living room! Cheers!

Mijn herinneringen van Bali. Super goedkoop, mooie landschappen, drie dagen ziek geweest vanwege voedselvergiftiging, scam praktijken. Niet gelukt haha. Nikki, ik geniet er van hoe je altijd vol enthousiasme iets kan uitleggen. Over je kamer en je omgeving. Prachtig. Ik hoop dat we gauw weer kunnen reizen, want Bali/Indonesië stond op onze lijst maar konden niet gaan door covid. Have fun.

I had a layover in Hong Kong many years ago (I travelled alone) and had to sleep on the chairs at night. Was so weird when I woke up and loads of people were looking at me funny haha!

New rules from Indonesia is you don't need to do PCR when you arrive there, if your temperature less than 37,5 than you are free to go. You only need to do the PCR from your original country of departure.

6:12 I didn’t wander around the airport but at the park near the airport. Due to my shopaholic I bought the steak knives set at the HONG KONG airport shop. The knives were searched by the security so I missed the flight. As I spent all my money at the airport because I thought I was going back home I had no money left to rent a hotel room so I needed to sleep in the park at9pm until 6am airport bus to come and pick up the travelers along the way to the airport.
Lying on the bench looking at the sky that night…no money..I realized how to feel like a homeless.
Ps. I was 21 years old girl at the time.

Hi Denni and Niki, next time, if you must stay layover in Changi Airport, plan your travel to stay in Ambassador Hotel in Terminal 3, for 6 hours rate. It has shower and two beds. I went through that Airport several times in my business trip and at one time I was forced to stay sleeping in the couch where the police woke me up and I must show my passport. Besides that, enjoy your trip and I went to Bali several times also, visit Mexicola in Seminyak and some gorgeous bars around Cangu. Thanks for your video, it was informative and stay safe please. what health insurance did you get? I bought my tix for october and so far only travel insurance ..solo travel
I heard you don’t need to do PCR test anymore in Bali as long you show your vaccination card, is that true?
We still needed to show our PCR test results. Not sure if that has changed!
The pcr test you took was rapid pcr ? How long did it take to have the results back
It took 3 hours for us to get the results back
we had 12h layover in Paris and tried to take a nap when a group of indians were being so loud like at 2-3 am..
We had something similar happen 😅
