I was studying my UG 2nd year when the movie was released. As it was a lengthy movie only 3 shows were shown a day. Watched 3 times in theatre and uncountable times in DVD. Every time I watch, I find out a new detail. Surely a world class movie.

Kamals only problem is that he makes movies atleast 10 years ahead of the time. And goes above the average IQ of his audience. Such masterpieces like hey Ram and Anbe Sivam mer bad responses only because of this. Hope someone can re -release those movies now. Ofcourse it’s not viable commercially as it is available free on the internet. I have watched Hey Ram twice. After watching this analysis I feel like watching again. Will watch with family soon.
In one interview he said. What if he don't have to think about money. Abundance of money what he will do. Kamal hassan sir said I'll *prepare the audience*. Setting the audience mindset is very important

I was a teenager when this movie was released, watched it thrice in the theatres, Tamil version twice and Hindi once. Did not understand much then. Then watched it small screen multiple times. Every time I watched never missed some goose bump moments. My favourite character of KH always remains to be Saketh Ram.

Hey ram producers and director should not feel this movie didn't play for 100 days. They should feel proud that even after 19 years still people r watching and discussing about this movie. Hey ram life is 100 years. I assume my grand children will be watching this again in year 2100..!
