Yeah, Monitor Unboxed already did a video review on it just before you uploaded this. Your fear is true. There is barely a difference in the Panel compared to the Previous Generation.
It’s brighter than most qdoleds and has a full glossy panel. How is that not a difference? I’ll let yall know in my review how the panel really is. I’m not a paid reviewer.

Yeah I’m really jealous! I’ve owned almost every oled monitor brand this year. No reason to be jealous of anything nor anyone! As a consumer I was just saying look out for my video from a real users point of view and not a paid review. You had a fit for no reason!
Just got the LG 27GS for $650, wondering if I should go for this. Looking forward to your comparison.
The 27GS is way brighter. In both modes. Im abput tonunbox the Asus Glossy but from what I am seeing it is not as bright as the Matte AQDM or 27GS950. $650 is very good price for the LG.
@@ViktorsReality Thanks! It did seem like a good deal. Still on Newegg for that price with promo code. I'm currently using the KTC G27P6 and hoping it will blow it out of the water. The KTC limits brightness to 200 nits with ABL off.
Is it worth uograding my LG GR 27" for a 27" GS? Or an i better off getting another brand or waiting for the LG 27" 480hz OLED? Thanks abd keep doing what you're doing 👍
I think wait for the 480hz to see a bigger improvement. Tho the price will be $1,199 for these new 27" 1440p 480hz monitors at release in sept. The 240hz GS is $699-$799 for a still seen brightness improvement. So its up to you if 480hz is worth $400 more..
@@ViktorsReality thanks..unless the picture is better on the 480hz Id be fine with the GS as I only play on console anyway.
That panel have MBR but only in 120hz... i dont know why. If it was 240hz MBR more and more i would be intresting.. but i still wait for 360hz monitor 1440p with mbr if there will be no better 480hz oled with mbr when it comes... i can wait i have time.
If I had to deal with the lighting anyway, I would go for the QD because of the 360hz, or I would choose the 27GS95QE with the same brightness offering and a remote as well.
I will test brightness vs the GS. I wonder if this is a repackaged aqdm.

@@andrewmorris3479 it is less. This is an aqdm panel. I was correct before. Reviews do not say 20% improvement. More like 20nits.

No HDMI 2.1 and "Rog exclusive OLED anti-flicker technology" which just limits the VRR range, another marketing gimmick from Asus.
