Ice Barriers were never a deck... Nekroz was hit pretty hard but that's after they dominated an entire year of Yugioh. Shaddolls got it pretty bad too :/
+Dante Rivera Shaddolls w/o Construct is like playing kozmoll without the 8+ stars monsters, there is no offensive play to it now, and it lost that 1 play, sending a shadoll from the deck to the grave when summoning construct to keep the plays going. And then you'd have no way of actually killing a big monster that says this card cannot be targeted by card effects, and then it has 4k atk. Construct would just roll over it. But now I have to use Grayddolls/Kaiju Thanks konami.
Dragon Rulers should have been number one. Konami literally had to ban the entire archetype. I don't think there is a single card with Dragon Ruler in its name that is unbanned.
The dragon ruler ban was so intense that a lot of decks were needed as collateral damage. Exodia dragon ftk was knocked out due to the loss of super rejuvenation, drag unity lost dragon ravine, and fire kings, fire fists, and battling boxers all suffered from the loss of blaster.
i think thats ridiculous to just think "oh they have gateway, its over", there are things like snow rabbit to prevent cards like that and if there is only 1 gateway, it still wont be that much power unless you add zoo engine which just makes anything good

+Foosa Hey. I think Fluffals are a more exciting, fast paced deck that can surprise people. It's pretty flexible and really does live up to the theme of not being what the opponent expects. Raidraptors are largely based on using Rank Up spells, which make some scary monsters like Ultimate Falcon, but feel a bit less reliable overall. Both decks are quite fun and affordable, though, so either will do nicely. I just like Fluffals a hair more. Hope this helped! ^_^
return dad was the more superior version. Tele dad was the adapted form when they hit dimension fusion, dmac and other things with magical scientist. the deck had way too much consistency and no deck competed with it
DAD was put to 2 in the OCG during Hero Shadoll format. A dark oriented Hero Deck with DDude won one of the japanese Nationals. The following ban list limited DAD again.
I'm going to download the app as soon as I get a new phone. I think gateway of the six could come back with twin twisters,MST,and cosmic cyclone at three it wouldn't even be on the field long enough to be a problem.

was teledad the frog deck, the psychic deck, a hero deck, I never knew what deck that was but those were the ones I faced that were most consistant at the time.

On your next turn use Book of Eclipse if you have it to set Manju/Senju from turn 1 and any untargetable monsters the opponent has. Flip summon the manju/senju get a search. If you have another in hand normal summon it and search again. Keep making plays, probably Xyz and search mirrors. You know how the deck loves recycling and searching
Here's why they FUCKED TeleDAD: The deck didn't actually rely on anything outwardly broken. "TeleDAD? BAN DARK ARMED" > TeleDAD becomes Destiny HERO Synchro. "Ban Crush Card" TeleDAD doesn't really care. You couldn't hit the deck without just hitting staples. Nothing was broken, it was just a bunch of cards that worked insanely well together. My theory is that Konami knew that any hit on TeleDAD was going to be interpretted by the players as them just looking for a way to kill the deck, rather than just ban a few broken cards. They were never going to come out of it without the players being pissed. Thus, their response: "Fuck it, slice the deck's throat and leave it for dead."
You get the like for the Honorable Mentions! Great video guys. I think Gateway could be at 1 without too many issues. I mean, there's enough back row hate in the game to keep you guessing. Ghost Ogre, TT, Cosmic Cyclone, etc. That's just my opinion tho

I recently played the original tele-dad with all the cards at 3 against my brother who used nekroz at full power and man i got fuckin wrecked..and that was due to the lack of good lvl 8 synchros. I could make like 2 stardust, summon DAD, set backrow and go, but Nekroz would get over it quite easily
Thats why its debatable, To be fair the tele-dad hit was instant stuck for almost 4 years whereas d-ruler's were hit but still used ALOT then finally banned not to long ago. So i'd say its just the impact and length of time spent on the banlist that does it.
rulers were only used a lot as utilities for other decks... a ruler deck was made impossible after their hit. then they decided them as utilities is too much so they banned them all... konami pretty much said to rulers 'go back to nothing!'
Why not just errata cards so they cant otk ftk and do degenrate loops or draws i think alot of cards are just ban for just one combo also teladad just had to get hit when i played this deck was a scourge on the meta
