The best to do this type of country, probably yea. But the best in country, he ain't even on Blake's level. Blake isn't on Tony's level, and Toby isn't on Garth Brooks level. And Garth Brooks isn't on other George's level, George Strait, and then the absolute goat George Jones
Morgan Fallen quickly became my favorite artist in a very short amount of time, can't stop singing his songs, at home, on the bus, at school, all day long. I didn't like country music 1 bit until I head Morgan's music. Literally blew my mind.
Country is still my least favorite genre, but I won't lie, "One Thing at a Time" is one of the best albums I've ever heard. Seriously, thirty-six songs, and I wouldn't skip ANY of them! This dude is different.
A decade ago I thought FGL were gonna be the ones to patch the urban / rural cultural divide. Then old town road came out 2019 and I thought for sure lil Nas x and billy ray Cyrus did it. Now it looks like Morgan Wallen is the current hope for a cultural consolidation, and he's doing a great job. A ton of my friends mess with Morgan Wallen, and none of them even listen to country music. It's been a wild past 100 years, gonna be an even crazier (hopefully in a good way) 100 more. I just hope that someday someone will read this comment and appreciate my perspective on a modern cultural phenomenon and that it helps whatever future generations of humanity to better understand our current time.
We need more unity in the cultures. I feel like if that became more popular we can get back to the level of happiness we all had in the early 2000's and better.
He just released a 36 track album which includes this one. The entire album is solid. Songs on that album I think you'd like... "I wrote the book" "Me+all your reasons "You proof" "Thought you should know" "Dying man" "Man made a bar"... Other songs of his... "Sand in my boots" "Wasted on you" "Bandaid on a bullethole" "The way I talk" Sorry to overload but seeing your genuine reaction to this one, I could see you vibing with most, if not all the ones I listed above. Great reaction and you got a sub💯
Thanks for these recommendations! I’m kinda new to country music. Started with Kane Brown since I feel like he mixes genres into country music. I’ll definitely check these songs out!
Morgan has been amazing since way back. Well deserved accolades about his writing, singing, performing and his love and loyalty to his friends and family. ❤
Whiskey Glasses by Morgan. Please! First time seeing one of your videos but subbed half way through. Great reaction. Been on a half hour binge of your reaction videos.
And when the 808 drum machine comes in it’s a great mix. I couldn’t hear it on this version, but maybe I just couldn’t make it out. But that’s the thing I love about this fusion of trap & country. Love ur open mind. Enjoyed the reaction.
i get the country accent but this happens in life everywhere. its just life. just depends on how people hear it. everyone has been through this.i love it. hope everyone is doing well and if some arent , you got my prayers i got you and you got this.
One of the world's biggest fans right here it's nice to see you doing something like this he is the best country singer in country right now I'm hopefully going to see him in concert in July ever since I heard my first song by him I have been extremely dedicated to his music you should do a video on the song I thought you should know that is the song that I dedicated to my mom
Totally agree about the Country & Hip Hop collabs… it’s always fire. This song itself is just begging for a verse from somebody right before the final chorus.
Morgan Wallen is the truth!! “One thing at a time” is the country equivalent to “all eyez on me” track after track of banger after banger. Not to mention how deep the tracklist is
I've never really liked country music minus a song here and there that I heard but this song was great!... Look up people who have added bass and drums to this song. It's even better!
I loved your perspective on this song. I’m not a country fan either, but I LIKE this song. Smooth rap in that country tune. I’d love to see you react to some metal. Metallica, Enter Sandman, for instance.
This song debuted #1 & #3, Hot C, Hot 100, respectively. Second and third week at 1 & 5. This week, 1 & #10 Global 200 (his highest peak to date), but I've yet to see where it landed Hot 100 chart. The album drop number results to come out next week. They're predicting all 36 songs will be in the Hot 100. This would be a new all-time record, any act, any genre. Swift has the all-time record for most top 10s from a country album (Red 2012). Wallen has three on this album until next week's chart 😀.
@@jordioreacts Last Night is 5th again this week. Third straight week at 5. May hit the very top on next-week's chart. That would be his first #1 Hot 100, and the first #1 from a country act in quite a while. Gabby Barret and Walker Hayes and Wallen himself have reached #3. Combs reached #2 in November 2020 with his debut of "Forever After All".
Helllll yeah!!! I subscribed to you I love me some Morgan Wallen. You know it too 🤣 If you like that you might wanna try You Proof if you haven’t yet, it some of that hip hop aspect I like in it too.
Since the 80s we all knew Metal and hiphop mixed very well. Example Public Enemy and Anthrax. But I don't think people were prepared for how well Country and hiphop came together. It's literally the same music, just applied differently. A lot of Country and hiphop have lyrics that speak to each other. One questions and the other answers. 👍
There have been several country/rap crossovers. Nelly Ft. Tim McGraw, Florida Georgia Line with Nelly, and there is a whole gang of popular country-rap artists like Upchurch, Adam Calhoun, Struggle Jennings, Jelly Roll (Started out rapping and is now focusing on mostly country music!)
Big facts im not really into country but this aint bad for mainstream, its like country hip hop in a way, the flow isnt too country but Morgan wallen definitely that guy
The first rap/country collaboration I know of is Tim McGraw ft. Nelly-Over and over. The most recent I know of is Brantley Gilbert ft T.I.-Bottoms Up. I could be wrong but that’s what I know of.
Theres actually a handful of country artists that have collabs with hip hop and rap arrists. Check out Florida Georgia line (country group) with Nelly. They have a few songs. "litl Bit' is one of them. Also, Kane Browns' "Be like that" with Swae lee and Khalid The algorithms with those few should lead you into a wonderful world of music, where the best two genres meet 😂.
I loved your reaction. :) Morgan is a genius!! Id love to see you react to Tom MacDonald someday! Him and Adam Calhoun doing Whiteboys or Tom rapping Riot. Or any of his other gazillion. The hangover gang will find your reactions and your channel will explode! Always happens!! #hog4ever!!
Ay Koe Wetzel, Diplo and Kodak made a song definitely check that out. Koe is a country rock artists Texas country and we all know who Diplo and Kodak are
Please listen to more country and heavy mental bands such as, guns and roses, Chris stapleton, Carrie underwood, sublime. So many great groups and individuals out there
Morgan wallen is one of the best to ever do. You can hear his hip hop influences in his flow and bass line when he uses one.
Best to ever do it is a stretch, but could me end up on that Pedestal in 10-15 years absolutely. He just needs to prove himself for a little bit more.
Depending on ur context for “best to ever do it” I could agree or disagree lol
I think you mean “Church”
Morgen wallen is a joke I dislike him greatly
The best to do this type of country, probably yea. But the best in country, he ain't even on Blake's level. Blake isn't on Tony's level, and Toby isn't on Garth Brooks level. And Garth Brooks isn't on other George's level, George Strait, and then the absolute goat George Jones
Respect for listening. This man preaches about life. I feel like he lived my life and my mistakes. Morgan Wallen is the real deal.
Nothing wrong with broadening your music spectrum. I love all music. All music has the potential to speak to you.

This I by far the best reaction video! And what you said about rap and country merging… I’ve been saying this all along…that is a hidden gem
We need more unity in the cultures. I feel like if that became more popular we can get back to the level of happiness we all had in the early 2000's and better.
