This is why they are my favorite band, hands down.
One of Lovebites more thrash style of songs. Definitely has elements of Slayer. Midori and Miyako are the best guitar duo I've seen in rock and metal.

Know how difficult to execute that whole guitar solo when you dont even look at or face one another, and being at least 30 feet apart? Well for one, your mind must be filled with music theory and the will to write the guitar solo lines (not only guitar tabs) and to improvise, memorize and rehearse to near perfection. And guiding this in the heart beat, is the metronome to provide the time signature dynamics which in reality is a difficult feat to master where most guitarist normally fail. And for on stage execution, fed to the ears must be unwavering rhythmic beats equivalent to those provided by the combination of the breathing and walking metronome, Miho and Haruna. The pivot balancing all these is the demeanor of professionalism and humility. Damn, that is why these beautiful accomplished musicians are so awesomely bloody good!
Asami says "Bang your head" at the beginning. And yes there is much headbanging to be had with a song like this, one of the best thrash songs I have ever heard. Thanks for another great reaction! 🤘🐺🤘

I have seen this over a hundred times. Finally realized something. It is a Slayer style song with a Megadeth power metal chorus. All
hail the astounding ladies of Lovebites. Still in my top three this song. Soldier Stands and Break the Wall I think round it out right now, but man there are about 7 other tracks pushing hard.
Their abilty to combine different sub-genres of metal into a single coherent song is one of their (very many) strengths.
Miyako is very pregnant at this show..(covid era also) audience restricted to applause only..
Most talented metal band I've heard in 5 decades of listening to metal. Midori & Miyako are so talented. Their guitar solos are incredible. It's a dopamine fix. It's cheesy, but I lierally would watch Miyako watch paint dry.

They are above ELITE, whatever level that is. They reset the bar for traditional heavy metal. Slayer intro, but I swear those gallops are so Testament, with Dragonforce solos to boot. Re Miyako smiling; nearly 5mos pregnant, standing, shredding for almost 2hrs, I'd be tired to. I couldn't last 5mins doing what she's doing. A beast on that Dean, and yes, she's a Dimebag fan. She was wearing a Pantera shirt the other day on her making song part 2 (or 3) YT video. 🤘

Being speechless after watching this Lovebites performance is totally understandable. Yes, some people say that they are out of this world. Others say that they’re angels who came to planet Earth in order to save metal. For a different side of them, I recommend “Liar”, “Edge of the world”, “Empty daydream”, “Epilogue”, “A frozen serenade”, “Spellbound”, “Dancing with the devil” (yes, all live)

Tremendous song. Some guitars in a combination of talent and speed for the ages. Haruna and Miho, impressive, and Asami's voice, deep and forceful, without showing off.
By the way, I see the image of Asami, at minute 5'20'' of your video, and she is beautiful, and the outfit, both of them and of the other ladies, is shocking. On the other hand, the new look of these girls....ufff I don't know I don't know...they have gone from being princesses to being somewhat strange brides. (sorry for going off topic of the song).
That musical tribute to "Mars" from Gustav Holst's "The Planets" as the intro is so metal. One of the most metal Classical pieces! I think Symphony X did the same on one of their songs. Can't remember which though.
New Lovebites EP comes at the end of august. Ger ready mentally, physically for more shredding and face melting metal from them soon...
