Civic EG vs Civic EF - Nurburgring TF

Saw this EF in the queue and thought it would be great to follow him around for a lap! The K24 had the legs everywhere, but the driver of the EF definitely knew where he was going a bit better than me.

As an EF owner myself since 1991, I can tell you that there are very, VERY few cars that can take down an EF when the road is twisty. Mine is just a measly Canadian model Si (108hp) without any VTEC, and over the last 32 years, I have utterly HUMILIATED all manner of, "fast," cars, any time the road is curvy. These cars are soooooooo slept on.

​@Maplecook I just got a 91 Si, replaced all of the control arms, trailing arm bushings, tie rods and ball joints, and took it to an autocross. It has some rock hard all seasons on it, and I had less than 100 Mike's driving it including the drive to the autocross. I managed to beat a brz, frs, mini cooper s, rx8, and came within 2 seconds of a 2014 vette. This little thing surprised me! I just ordered some MUCH better tires and a better rear sway bar.... should be fun

@@JoeBowerRacing I was referring the second part of the race. I think you were losing grip later in the video. It's just my personal judgement based on the fact that you did not push the car as hard as you did at the beginning of the video.
