    Nice vid sad to see lower views than usual great vid though.

    • @OHAREAVIATION
      @OHAREAVIATION  7 лет назад

      eh, perhaps I would wish to see more views as well but flying is one of those things that is often times best experienced when doing it yourself. ... I like watching RUclips videos of flying but that's me. More or less this is simply a diary of my adventures that I have made public and happen to make a little money on the side... The video is more for my own enjoyment and memory rather than simply a view-hog. Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoy my work!

    Terrrific Jay, those 734 Combis are the most genuis and usefull aircraft, escpecially for Alaska! Nice that Alaska Airline help the remote communites in Alaska, as not many LCC would really do that sort of thing, in particular for a big one like Alaska Airlines! Really to see all those old DC-3s at Fairbanks too! Liked for sure

    • @OHAREAVIATION
      @OHAREAVIATION  7 лет назад

      Really had a very cool experience flying on this, a legacy 737-400 as well as the 737-400C Combi... glad I was able to do it while I still could... sometimes it seems I've missed out on so many other airplanes but I'm very grateful for what I've been able to do.

    Great in every aspect. Good camera work and goot sound without this silly microphone damping.

    This video Jay reminded me of the old days when Olympic airways had these birds flying all over Greece and Europe.I had flown with these jets so many times and I always enjoyed it.Brilliant onboard video my friend

      Gotta love those legacy 73s.... glad I got to ride on one of these one last time.

  • @320ifly

    I miss the 737 classic. Those flap noises and that distinct sound the engines make when the plane increases thrust from idle are so unique to this aircraft. Flying on the NG just isn’t the same.

    • @OHAREAVIATION

      Thanks for watching! :) much agree, happy i got to fly the classic 737s several times before most of them are now gone.

    What was the light looking thing on the far spike hanging off the wing at 5:44?

    • @OHAREAVIATION
      @OHAREAVIATION  7 лет назад

      That's a landing light, there is one on each side.... the old legacy 737s all have them and you'll see them incoming when on approach or takeoff.

    • @MajorIdontcare
      @MajorIdontcare 7 лет назад

      Thanks for answering! I do wonder though, why did it disappear mid flight? Does it retract somehow?

    • @320ifly
      @320ifly 4 года назад

      Gideon Outzen after climbing through 10000ft those lights get turned off and it retracts. These old birds are really mechanical.

      It's just part of uploading videos to RUclips. ;) Some people never learned that if they have nothing nice to say they are better off not saying anything at all. Even so, RUclips does allow for a great deal of anonymity that is sometimes more hurtful than helpful. The comments and reviews left on this channel are very overwhelmingly positive so I don't really even pay attention to the dislikes really.
