@@GEEKORMAN Yes. It was a simple mill village then. The only big home was Mr. Pharr's mansion then and of course what we called the old big house. It belonged to the founder of the town. Like most old towns, it was our haunted house...lol. There is a book called, Spun from the Wilderness. It gives the story of this little mill village. Hope you check it out, if it can be found, and enjoy the adventure. There's pictures and a story that would insinuate that Abe Lincoln was conceived here. Have a blessed day from the Father. ❤
