Bruh this university is literally a dream...not confident I’ll get in tho cus of how competitive it is lol. Really enjoyed your tour and how you narrated everything as you went along too, left you a sub :)
hehe yes it's so cute! Ah amazing, good luck! Durham has such a magical vibe as it's 'olde worlde' and is totally unlike anywhere else I've been before. You'd really love it and during the festive season it's amazing!
Thank you so much Will! I'm really glad that you enjoyed it. Thanks for letting me know that a part 2 would also be good, I'm going to film that very soon and I'll feature the hill colleges and science site :)
OMG that's so amazing and exciting! A huge congratulations!! You'll love Durham so much and in the Autumn when term is just starting, it's honestly so beautiful! :)
I always love these videos - Durham is so beautiful! I was wondering if you would ever do a video about formals at Durham (what people wear, how it works etc.) as it's totally new!
Thank you! So glad you enjoy them :) Yeah Durham really is such a beautiful city isn't it. Ooh that's a great idea to talk about formals at Durham. It's definitely a big part of uni life at Durham and they are always a bit different too. Thanks for the fab suggestion!
Thank you for this! I visited Durham on the 6th-8th of August and loved it! I’m starting at Cuths in September for History :) It would definitely be help to do a part 2 for new elvet and all the hill colleges!
You're welcome! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it :) That's so great, I'm glad you loved Durham and that's so exciting! Cuth's is a lovely college so I'm sure you'll have an amazing time. Thank you for letting me know a part 2 with the hill colleges and New Elvet would be helpful too, I'll be sure to film that v.soon! :)
Thank you for the video! I am attending Durham this fall. Although my father is from Newcastle, I have lived in Iowa for my entire life, and I have never been able to visit the city of Durham let alone the university. Your video really helps me get a sense of what the city will be like. Please do a part 2!
You're very welcome! I'm so glad that you've found it helpful and absolutely yes, I will be filming a part 2 this Sunday and it will be up shortly after that :) You'll honestly love Durham so much. (I've always wanted to visit the USA but haven't been before! I bet living in Iowa is amazing!) :)
As someone that won't be able to travel to Durham due to Covid and also living 6 hours away, this is so so helpful! Thank you! Looking to apply to study English at Durham 2022 :)
Love this very informative videos 😍 May I ask if you know/encounter anyone that has been through racism issues in Durham ? I’m bit worried as I know Durham isn’t a very diverse uni and going there as a non-white can be quite intimidating 🙁
Thank you! :) So glad that you're finding them helpful! I don't recall anyone I knew personally experiencing this but you are right about the diversity not being the best at Durham uni. As with anywhere, there are these issues but please don't worry about this as on the whole people are very nice and anyone who isn't should be reported and they will be dealt with in the appropriate manner. You'll be absolutely fine and I'm sure you'll love it at Durham :) xo
Hey, great video. The tour was really helpful. I have finalised Durham Uni and will be coming there in Sept 2022 to pursue International Business. I have a doubt regarding choosing colleges. I loved St Chad's but it is a little further from the Business School, would you suggest it wise to choose St Chad's despite the distance? Are there any buses that can take me from college to the academic block? I am so confused about this. I would be grateful if you helped me with this information. :)
Hey I can’t decide on which college to pick. I want self catered so I was thinking of St Cuthberts(I’m thinking of studying English lit) . Would that be a good choice?!
