Soda stream definitely better choice. Especially for those who just drink /use club soda. And even if occasionally drink cola , can just buy the coke syrups from restaurant supply place which can last for long time. And also consider about the waste of electricity.
Soda Stream is available for under 100 bucks for a complete Starter kit., The Co2 tanks are refillable forunder 16 bucks. To buy a spare full tank it's only about 33 bucks... the gas in the tank costs about 15 bucks so the new tank is about 16. I get the refills ate Target. I drink it all day every day, and a tank lasts about a month. You can buy syrupsin bottles, but a bit expensive. I make simple flaverings with suger and Kool Ade. An empty washed Ketchup bottle makes a great dispenser. I Fill the empty bottle to the shoulders, add the flavor powder, and fill to an inch of the top withe water. Cap it and shake, the water level will go doun as it displaces the suger and airtop off with water to about a half inch from the top. the suger will dissolve as you shake it occiasonly in about fifteen minutes. I use 8 squirts in a 16oz glass. I keep an assortment of flavers on the counter, next to the Soda Stream unit. There are so many flaverrs available. And the xpensive Keurig machine went over so well that is has been discontinued. Soda Stream just keeps going and getting better all the time. The branded cola, lemon lime root beer and others are available in the flavor bottles at about 6 bucks for enough to make about 36 eight ounce glasses for a bit over 6 bucks.
Great, if you feel like paying $9.98 for just shy of 2 liters of Coke or $18 for a 12-pack of cans, not including shipping costs if the packs are $4.99 (current online price). Prior testers only get drinks about 42 to 43 degrees in temperature. You also have to leave the machine plugged in all the time (uses the same amount of power as a mini-fridge according to manual). I think I'll stick with trips to the local store for those reasons.
I was a little surprised when she said it tasted like McDonald's coke. Those are usually wildly off regulation. So now that you have owned it for a little while, what do you think about it?
+austin Gordon for first time setup you have to wait about 2hrs , after that it should be ON all the time but still takes some time to make many for bigger party.
No you misunderstood it takes 2 hours to cool down the very first time you plug it in but after that you can make as many as you want as fast as you want
The cola out of the bottle taste just as good, if not better* and is also cold if you refrigerate it. + you don't have to wait 90 seconds for your glass to fill or pay crazy amounts of money for the cups. Most pointless machine there is. It's like they went, hmmm how can we make this progress of people drinking cola more expensive and more time consuming?
I have a little mini coke "fridge" in my finished basement and it does take almost 3 hours to make a 6 pack cold - but if you put them in there already cold from a real fridge it keeps them cold pretty well - I think that's what this machine is doing since it doesn't seem to have a real refrigerator compressor. Maybe if the water came direct from the fridge. (plus from what I read the colder the water - as long as it isn't frozen - the better it carbonates.)
I think how he explains it is very misleading, you only wait 2 hours the first time you plug it up. Kinda like a refrigerator. Because it has a refrigeration unit in it...
+Raw Product Reviews ..yea. I didn't disagree with that. I'm saying it doesn't happen every time you make a drink. It's only part of the initial setup when you plug it in.
+Anthony Mezzanotte But If I want to take the margarita and liquor version to a party I'm going to, you mean I have to get there two hours early so people can get a drink? I don't think that will work for my friends.
So now let me get this straight! You need to spend $350.00 and wait two hours to make one glass of soda at home when you can buy a three liter bottle of soda at the store for two bucks?! Come on folks were do you see a need for this stuff?!
+Raw Product Reviews yeah they started test marketing Pepsi Homemade in my area. Bought a few boxes getting free box and bottles and don't forget to use your points in their web site to save money. I just hope they come out with diet versions soon. OK Keurig is $5 for 32 oz. while Pepsi Homemade is $3.49 for 64 oz., neither is cheaper than store bought but both can be made on the fly and don't take up as much room as filled bottles. Another point is the Keurig uses a lot of power which raises it operating cost quite a lot.
I really dont see the point of this, you can just buy a billions of bottles instead of that machine, " it taste like coke " but why not just buy coke then? It takes 1 sec to fill a glass with a bottle of coke and thats for sure coke lol and its so much cheaper and you can get it cold as you want aswell and you dont need to wait 2 minutes on every glass
Only way I see this being cool is that it doesn't make a normal coke from a can. It makes a fountain coke, which IMO is better then can or bottle. I still wouldn't buy this, since I can go to the gas station, get a fountain coke, and drive home for an entire year and still spend less money..lol
90 minutes is a minute and a half? This thing is clumsy (and so was the machine.) I don’t know if you are still a professional RUclips reviewer, but it couldn’t hurt to read the instructions included with the product and know the facts and figures that you want to talk about.
What is this company smokin? 1 little glass for $1 each? $350 for the giant piece of plastic? Toooo yuppie for my taste! But, oh, wait...you get 6 little glasses in 2 hours...this product could take down the whole company!
I agree! The pop tastes so good and authentic! Yummy!

Just looked on the Keurig website...the pods are insanely expensive.
I think soda stream is better, you don't have to wait 2 hours and the bottles of the syrup are way bigger and last longer.
Can you make a video of what's inside a Keurig Kold pods?
Have you tried Pepsi Homemade at SodaStream?
I am curious to know if it taste any good
+yanotopia I did and it taste really good, check my video, ruclips.net/video/lMMrCFyIrrw/видео.html
I was a little surprised when she said it tasted like McDonald's coke. Those are usually wildly off regulation. So now that you have owned it for a little while, what do you think about it?
+Louis Lipp Coke taste really good, just waiting for a glass a coke and price, not worth it .
+Louis Lipp McDonnell's adjust their dispensed amount of syrup to account for melting ice in their glasses.
Do you feel there was enough carbonation in the drink? It didn't look to fizzy.
+deztroyer76 It was exactly like a bottle of coke, perfect amount of carbonation.
sodastream is coming out with a new machine that carbonates any liquid next year.
the price on target and kohl's $199.99 now
Wow, thanks for the video. I love Keurig and want to love this machine but wow, what a pain in the ass this looks like.
Do you HAVE to wait 2 hours? I wouldn't care if my drink is warm
+austin Gordon for first time setup you have to wait about 2hrs , after that it should be ON all the time but still takes some time to make many for bigger party.
this is a great machine for parties, 6 - 8 oz. glasses of soda every 2 hours.
6 glasses in 2 hours? This is an amazing piece of crap!
No you misunderstood it takes 2 hours to cool down the very first time you plug it in but after that you can make as many as you want as fast as you want
@@joshuas4228 thats what i was thinking, u tell him Jesus
You are doing a review on a Keurig machine. The part about the water filter is not needed. A bit more editing would have been good too.
Think, they already suckered people into paying $8 for a cup of coffee so why not same for soda.
drinking game! take a drink whenever you hear him say "as far as i know"
Or when his hand hit the top of the machine

This is for people who want the "look what I have" factor.
+TouchyBanana that salt is real
gas
I think how he explains it is very misleading, you only wait 2 hours the first time you plug it up. Kinda like a refrigerator. Because it has a refrigeration unit in it...
+Anthony Mezzanotte I did wait 2+ hours , it will take longer if it's worm in the house.
+Raw Product Reviews ..yea. I didn't disagree with that. I'm saying it doesn't happen every time you make a drink. It's only part of the initial setup when you plug it in.
+Anthony Mezzanotte oh yea :) after that it's really fast !!
+Anthony Mezzanotte But If I want to take the margarita and liquor version to a party I'm going to, you mean I have to get there two hours early so people can get a drink? I don't think that will work for my friends.
+tamproductionsinc if you put ice in the water tank it will be ready faster but still 1hr+
sodastream is test marking theirs with pepsi, this makes 8 oz. glass while sodastream pepsi .5 lt. do the math
hahahaha when she said oh wow it tast exactly like McDonald's coke it's delicious actually hahaha
Flop. You would pay $350 to have three Cokes a week? Give me a break!
I doubt he would still only drink 3 cokes a week after this vid
So now let me get this straight! You need to spend $350.00 and wait two hours to make one glass of soda at home when you can buy a three liter bottle of soda at the store for two bucks?! Come on folks were do you see a need for this stuff?!
+Saddie Easton lol
+Raw Product Reviews did you keep it? Other reviews have reported problem with pods not working and returned it.
+bruce p No, I have SodaStream and now they have Pepsi, super easy to make and cheaper.

waste of money; just go to Walmart and get 2 liters Coke
