- Having had to work in Seville, the Primemutton embarked on a much trickier journey to Leipzig than most fans , travelling between 2 very badly connected cities , taking 3 flights and a train.
Having just about made it , Mutton explored the local beer halls and cuisine before heading off to the very inconveniently located Red Bull Stadium. 40 minutes to get there, 1 hour to walk back , no nearby bars , no public transport.
None of this deterred Mutton though as he brings you all the match action on what was quite a tense evening

Started with a tricky journey and then ended up not being able to upload due to weak wifi and no 5G at my hotel. But I have been able to upload this lower resolution version from my 5G phone signal at Berlin airport on the way back.
As for the match itself , many are torn as to whether that was a decent result or whether Leipzig were there for the taking. I can't say I found the city itself all that exciting , and as for the stadium , an incredibly circuitous routing for away fans , no public transport and given the massive detour the away fans were put on, a walk that timed at a bit over an hour. 2 power banks confiscated , no bars even remotely close to the ground , and 2.9% alcohol beer inside the stadium left me feeling more than a bit underwhelmed.
This match was sold out for the away end at very high levels of City's loyalty point scheme, I can't see it being so popular if we draw them again.

A point of view that i share with many others is that we're suffering from Pep not having a high profile number 2 this season. This is the first season he's not had an Arteta or Domènec Torrent figure working with him on refining the team and making in game decisions.
In the last 2 games alone a 2nd half tweak could've held off the opposition or made it hard for them to get their eventual equalisers, too little too late in both cases !!
It's not just these 2 games either, i feel that Pep is tinkering so much that it's sucked a bit of the life out of the players, and with no one there to advice and reign him in he's a bit out of control ?

Excellent video.. I understand, from Cheesy's video, that the new stadium is built within the exoskeleton of the old one. Sorry you had such a problem with luggage and with the cautious detours imposed on away fans... Watching it at home I felt it was a game of containment from our point of view..... And yes, odd that we didn't use any subs, at Forest where we were parsimonious too and we run the risk of fresh legs catching us on the break... I think Pep is determined to disguise his tactics and avoid predictability (or else he simply likes mucking around) . That handball at the end... Not sure why it didn't even go to VAR?

Always enjoy the videos, City were poor second half and Pep should've made at least one or two changes. Not sure why he says players need to be rested through the season but them plays tired players for a full 90 mins. Handball at the end btw, what a joke but not surprised by the bent UEFA officials. They really don't like us do they!?
Yes I don’t buy the hazy image shown by UEFA 2 hours later , it should have been sent to VAR , the Tv companies got the same view as I did , and it would be nice to have seen the incident from the other side of the stadium and/or behind the goal.
Your vlogs are higlights of my week, and I learn about foods and resturants that i want to visit when I travel. I just hope we learn how to put Haaland in when he does his runs. Wish you all good things and good health :)
So glad you’re enjoying them . The 1230 kick offs are not great for food segments , i do have some breakfast venues I intend to visit in the future but it depends a bit on how busy I am .
