Yes, pvp gods are great at fighting, with a mouse and keyboard, which they will not be using if they got sucked into the game, they would be in 1st person
considering that spawns are randomized in this hypothetical, I'm sure a large amount of people would band together to create a sort of "lost and found organization" to try and help people reunite with their friends and families after the initial chaos of ending up in a strange place with strange people. Over time they will use books to archive the people's information as accurately as possible, including full name, date of birth, previous phone numbers and addresses, etc. so for example when someone asks if they know where they could find a man named Victor Frederick Harley is, they could get back a clear answer on whether someone came in to confirm his death, his fate is undetermined, or if he is alive in which case they can plan a reunion.

But if everyone is trapped PLAYING Minecraft on their PCs, then yes, Techno, Dream and other Minecraft creators will be gods.

This was one of my “still awake at 2:45 AM thoughts” and now it was made into a video by someone, so basically I won’t stay up at night anymore thinking about this
1 billion people would probably die on the first day. It seems like a big number but considering how many people don’t play minecraft, including babies and the elderly, it’s actually pretty likely
Though, one aspect would be that they would be more coordinated, since they're experiencing everything first person. Might make that a bit faster. Or slower who knows.
All of this assumes that when we get spawned in it’s just like playing on a controller or computer…………..if our consciousness really were inside Minecraft avatars then people’s Minecraft pvp skills would be nearly useless
guys this actually exist in real life too. Irl, we could potentially skip night time if everyone slept at once. Its just never happened since there are so many people in the world
I feel like the veterans would shunned and even attack due to being connected with the game. They’d either have to become pillars of communities forced to carry the burden of supporting non players or end up leaving to form there own colonies. Non players would eventually learn and become jealous leading to wars and death
@@Cherno35 ya I think that someone would still stay behind but I think most of the skilled players and gamers would probably all band together and popular Minecraft pvps or players would probably create a society together with other players and just let the rest die off and with them having so much knowledge of the game probably wouldn't be that scared of it and treat it like a normal Minecraft game and that would be scary in real life the players would probably start hunting down regular people who don't know about the game for fun and just see it as griefing and not make a big deal about it I'm talking about gang mentality type stuff
Realistically that wouldn't happen. Veterans would be one of the most valuable aspects of a groups due to possessing game knowledge. Veterans would be leader by default and would most likely become leaders in the future civilization that would happen
This comment completely ignores the human aspect. Most veteran would want to find their family and friend first, not to mention killing people is extremely traumatizing. Also all skilled players bending together would be impossible due to how isolated people and groups would be. The most likely outcome is that skilled players become the leaders of groups because of game knowledge and would act as the leading class for future civilizations

@@Christian-nf1gx survival would be a lot easier with netherite lol + nether has resources for potions which would be a game changer. for people with experience going to the nether might still be scary but with a team and full dia there’s not much that can stop you. also if you factor the new nether update then there’s trading potential, netherite potential and potential to survive there as not many would dare to travel there meaning your only enemy would be mobs
@@hurricanecyt you don’t have to beat it though. In this scenario, you just have to survive. Idk man if it was real life I wouldn’t take the chance and fight the dragon
I feel like the divide between noob and veterans would go very differently than the veterans simply becoming a different nation. You need to keep in mind, in this scenario, everyone is there. The experienced players couldn't really afford to leave behind the noobs without abandoning their families, friends, etc. from the real world. I also feel like education would develop much more quickly, since there are already redstone experts like MumboJumbo out there, and there are probably at least a few thousand people with some degree of Redstone experience, who would be able to teach people the advanced game mechanics. It would be like if the stone ages started with a few people who could already create working cars and lightbulbs.
I can imagine all those nine year old Skywars players attacking everyone on sight in the beginning, not taking anything seriously, and massacring hundreds.
Thing is, due to villagers, almost no resource is finite. I doubt there would be much conflict since you can pretty easily get any resources with villagers and resource farms.Society would probably become very agrarian, with each person having their own farms. The only meeting places would probably be villager trading halls.
Except that there would barely be any villagers because non-players accidentally killed them in the first day. The few that remained would be controlled by some faction who would either rule everyone or get killed by them. Basically, villagers would just be the new resource.
@@rockin1014 but thanks to zombie villagers anyone with a dark room and 2 golden apples could spawn an entire village (get witches to apply the weakness effect so if you can't brew potions)
There would still be conflicts because of areas of interests (woodland mansion and blaze spawners) and more minor conflicts due to items (elytras shulker boxes)
@Airi mage racism isn't quite a synonym (some xenophobia targets groups that some don't consider races, such as polish, italian, and irish people), but it's a good comparison and there's a lot of overlap (anti-mexican bigotry in the US is both racism and xenophobia, for example) and yeah, xenophobes and racists are rarely ever fully consistent in their bigotry. they'll make exceptions for some immigrants but not others, and so on. they just want someone to blame their troubles on. (a note: "races" are kinda psuedoscientific anyway, so there's not a concrete answer to what ethnic groups and nationalities do and doesn't qualify as races, beyond how people who think they're important define them... which are often either racists, or victims of racism. it's not a great situation)
When you can conduct a survival experiment on societies without the ethical constraints, still limited due to it being a game however the basics are still there that would somewhat reflect how societies in real life develop.
'L-Lord Mumbo... the enemies are at the gates. We must do something!' 'lol its ok it's a regenerating wall see I made a video like 4 years ago about these walls and...'
If this would actually happen then we have to count mods into this as well. While yes, some of the mods like Aether Ice and Fire, and The Twilight Forest would probably not exist than doesn't mean that tech mods wouldn't exist. That opens a whole new category of people who are good at automating and creating machines. I think the people who would be the best at that are mod and modpack creators since mod creators literally created the mod. Modpack creators know how to make them better/worse
Too true. Although with the exception of diamonds pretty much everything is farmable in someway... Plus I'd think he'd mention some sort of End Buster faction who would take control of shulker box supplies and Elytra..
@@KeychainWolf Honestly though, the whole concept of this game is literally infinite. There are billions of chunks in just one mine raft world. So it would take a long time for everyone to farm every single coal or iron ore, or even tree. It would take a LONG time.
Minecraft would be incredbly easy to survive in. Even if there were 7 billion players, I would say at least half of that will die within the first 3 days. After like 2 weeks there would probably only be actual Minecraft veterans alive, most of whom would not be in groups and would not be interested in taking risks. It would be incredibly easy to just walk super far from 00 and just build a farm base underground. No one will ever find it since no one would have cheats.

If everyone spawns evenly spread out (as in each person starts in the middle of 'their' 632 x 632 land, but its not like Factions they could go wherever they want and they don't 'own' it) meaning everyone would start much more isolated, and how this would play out would be extremely fascinating. Would people gather together and join large cities to survive? Would others make do with their large tract of wilderness alone? Both? It would be very interesting, especially given the difficulty of finding other people you know if you were all placed randomly and uniformly.

I feel like a ton of people would die very stupid deaths, especially people who have never played minecraft before. But, I'm also curious about how many people would actually become raiders given the fact that not many people are actually that ok with murdering others (which is what raiding would pretty much become). Plus, in minecraft, killing someone is much easier there than it is in real life. Plus, eventually, they would all run out of resources. Eventually there would be no more diamond, iron, or gold because it would have all been used while making tools and whatnot. Also, in this idea, would people be able to have kids anymore? I also feel like a ton of people would eventually just yeet themselves into lava since in minecraft there isn't an aging system or anything.
Idk the answer to all these questions but I’m guessing that a lot of peoples parents will die off from lack of knowledge about the Minecraft world. I feel in the beginning a couple billion would probably die off. The survivors after the initial panic and chaos would start heading to camps in search for their loved ones. But that would take years before they might run into someone they know. And if we are talking about an SAO type world then making offspring will be impossible, but if it was some kind of cosmic transportation to a alternate mc universe I feel like the world would run off of mc mechanics but everything would look “normal”. Idk just theories
For trees you can grow more and for ore you have to load new chunks now for the breeding part... I’d rather not go that way Now for Raiders there’d be 5
the minecraft drug-market blaze-rods would become illegal (exept to personnel cleared to make potions for guard/police/military) to own, and potion-ingredients like ghast tears and glistening melons would be highly frowned upon by the society you live in, meaning that if you say "look at this, guys! a stack of ghast-tears!" they'd be like "dude... umm... get rid of those on the black market. Cash the diamonds and never touch those again before police finds out"
I ran a server years ago, that prevented you from making tools and weapons from Iron, Gold, and Diamond. It was medium popular, with about 100 players total at one point. It died down when people found it too hard to beat the bosses with stone swords. I wouldnt mind trying again, but now with the villager trading mechanic, it would be possible to buy these items, but not repair them, or craft them, which would be interesting.

Both? I feel like a ton of people would die very stupid deaths, especially people who have never played minecraft before. But, I'm also curious about how many people would actually become raiders given the fact that not many people are actually that ok with murdering others (which is what raiding would pretty much become). Plus, in minecraft, killing someone is much easier there than it is in real life. Plus, eventually, they would all run out of resources. Eventually there would be no more diamond, iron, or gold because it would have all been used while making tools and whatnot. Also, in this idea, would people be able to have kids anymore? I also feel like a ton of people would eventually just yeet themselves into lava since in minecraft there isn't an aging system or anything.
also what if people spawn away from their loved ones? and what about usernames how do those work?
Idk the answer to all these questions but I’m guessing that a lot of peoples parents will die off from lack of knowledge about the Minecraft world. I feel in the beginning a couple billion would probably die off. The survivors after the initial panic and chaos would start heading to camps in search for their loved ones. But that would take years before they might run into someone they know.
