I absolutely loved spending time with my patients and getting to know them and their families. It was the best part of my job, and I miss it a lot. I'm definitely a social person, so you nailed that. 🙂 After I met my husband and found out I was pregnant with my daughter, we decided it made more sense for me to stay home with the kids. We were really fortunate that he made more than enough to support us, so I didn't have to work, but I also didn't want to quit. It was a really hard decision for me. ☹️ But, ultimately, it made more sense for me to quit working, so I did. I love my kiddos with every ounce of my being, but I missed regular interaction with adults. 😅 Eventually, when my daughter started school, I made some cupcakes for her kindergarten Halloween party. And that bloomed into a fairly successful side hussle for me baking cakes and cupcakes. I still do that, too, and while I absolutely love creating pretty, fun cakes, that's still a very lonely job. And I watched some gurus that said, "Create a channel based on something you love and know really well.." And I started to make a channel about my cake making escapades, but there were already tons of those, and I'm definitely not a pro, so I nixed that idea. And then it hit me... I've been collecting bags for decades at this point, and if there's anything I'm qualified to talk about, it's those! 😅💜 And now we're here! I love making these videos, and I love chatting and getting to know yall! 😊💜 I've made friends all around the world thanks to this channel, and I've met such sweet people, just like you!! 🥰 It's a ton of work making these videos... way more than people realize. But it's more than worth it, and I enjoy it so much that I don't even know how to put it into words. 💜 Life is crazy the way it works out sometimes. They have some leather bags that are more but still great prices for leather. I just bought a gorgeous bag for my mom, it has a lot of room. I was totally floored by how nice it was. I would never guess it wasn’t leather. And it was 21 dollars. A steal for a bag of that quality. She liked it.

Yes girl!! I've picked up some AWESOME bags from Temu! I really dislike when some people make comments like, "all these cheap bags", like they're just crap quality. I've gotten bags off temu that stand toe to toe with some of my contemporary bags because they're THAT good! 💜
Love your videos! What is the best way to reshape bags that have been misshapen? I have some that we packed not so well during our move, all designer 😒
Oh no! Girl, I've been there. 🤦♀️ If they're your pricier designer bags, then I'd definitely say just stuff the ever loving hell out of them and give it time. Like, get down in every look nook and cranny, if you can. And just set them out where they can breathe and give it time. You can use some light heat to help speed the process up, but do it carefully!! My usual method is to get my hairdryer, turn it on low, cover the bag with a white towel, and then slowly go over the problem areas with the creases and wrinkles. So, for your leather bags, I'd say stuff it really well (or you can use your hand on the inside when you use heat because you can adjust your hand around the crease as you need to, and it will help you gage how hot it's getting, too) put your towel over it (this keeps the direct heat off the leather, but still allows enough to get to it to be effective) and then slowly just go over the area with your blow dryer on low. It will definitely get the creases out faster, you just have to be careful because if you get the leather too hot you can actually blister it... and that's no bueno!! 😬 I'll typically do it for 10 to 15 minutes at a time and then give it a break. Oh!! And try to lay the bag in a way that takes as much pressure off the area with the creases. It just makes it that much easier when you're not fighting gravity, too.. ya know what I mean? 😅💜 That's my best advice, and what's worked best for me. Let me know how it goes, and goof luck!! 💜💜💜

After watching your suggestions about bags I bought the little inspired LV denim bag and switched up the strap for a chain one I had and get lots of compliments on it. I also bought a few of those tiny AirPod/ bag charm Hermes inspired bags and was lucky enough to catch a runway inspired Ralph Lauren. I’m now considering the Diane bag and tiny longchamp coin purse. One of my other subscribers wanted to buy it so I went ahead and sold it to her. I have so many bags that I'm at the point where unless I love the bag because it's totally different to anything else I have, I'm fine with letting other people get them for a better price from me. 🙂 I have no doubt that it's fabulous in white, however!! Thank you so much!! 🥰 So, some of them I keep. Some go to friends and family, and then some I sell off fairly cheap. Every once in a while, when I have a bunch piled up, I do vlog sales where all the temu bags are usually $15 each, or $10 for 2 or more. Shipping included. Any bag that was under the $15 is knocked down below its price on temu because I'm not trying to make money off the sales. I'm just trying to clear them out where I accumulate them so quickly. And I came up with the basic pricing because a flat $15 will cover a regular box shipping anywhere within the US, and then $10 each for 2 or more typically covers the shipping for larger boxes and heavier weights. So I just make sure to cover the shipping, and then I pass the bags on to anyone that wants them for a good deal.
I haven't even run across those yet! I'm going to have to get back to work and do some more scrolling! 😅💜 I saw a really cute dupe for the d&g Sicily bag a while back. But it literally sold out in the hour I was shopping, so I wasn't able to get it. 🫤
I've bought so many bags from Temu and, maybe I've just been lucky, most of them are really good quality and we're very cheap. Designer bags don't particularly do it for me as I find them to be very bland but each to their own. Temu sells some really quirky cool bags. I have to say that in general they're getting more expensive but still cheaper than Amazon or anywhere else. Love them! I love your videos - very informative.

There's no difference. They're the exact same thing in most cases. What makes the difference is how they treat it or what kind of finish they give it. So, like, faux leather that's given a "pebbled leather" look is typically going to have more texture. Whereas a faux leather that has a smooth finish will usually be softer. Just like a normal leather, really. Then, the other thing that factors in is whether the bag is structured or not. Structured bags can have a faux leather that feels smooth, but I wouldn't necessarily call it soft... if that makes sense. Where a bag that isn't structured will be softer just due to the nature of the material being more malleable. I'm not the very best at explaining things, so I have no idea if that makes sense or not. 🤦♀️ I hope so! If yall have any more questions, or if I didn't explain very well, then feel free to email me any time, and I'll be more than happy to help! 🙂💜
@@amberthatgirl2001 that’s a great explanation but remember that bags like Tory Burch also make structured bags with goat or lamb leather which makes them very-soft but the leather scratches easily so you have to be careful with them. Also, bonded- leather is actually made with real leather but it’s pulverized, and then a medium is added to itSo in that way, they called it real leather but a lot of people don’t consider it real leather. For example, Coach doing that now. 😉

You're free to watch or not watch anything you want. There's nothing forcing you to watch these temu hauls if you don't enjoy them. That would actually be silly to spend your time on something you don't enjoy. Anywho, these bags aren't fakes at all. A dupe is just a bag that's inspired by another bag. But I understand what you meant. 🙂 And they're definitely inexpensive compared to other bags, for sure. Cheap, as in quality, I wouldn't agree with. Some of them are, sure. But some of the bags I've picked up from Temu could rival any contemporary bag I have in my collection. Awesome quality. 🙂 And my content hasn't changed, I've just added other things to it. Temu prices have really gone up alot, wow!!! 😳
Not talking about bag prices (I'm not really into bags). I'm speaking about prices in general! Noticed when I clicked on links. Sorry if my comment confused anyone
They have some leather bags that are more but still great prices for leather. I just bought a gorgeous bag for my mom, it has a lot of room. I was totally floored by how nice it was. I would never guess it wasn’t leather. And it was 21 dollars. A steal for a bag of that quality. She liked it.
I've definitely noticed the prices seem to be going up a bit, too. 🫤 But they still have so pretty good coupons and discount codes that help bring them back down some. 🙂💜
Yes girl!! I've picked up some AWESOME bags from Temu! I really dislike when some people make comments like, "all these cheap bags", like they're just crap quality. I've gotten bags off temu that stand toe to toe with some of my contemporary bags because they're THAT good! 💜
Yeah I noticed that too. Most purses I HV gotten from them were returned, garbage they were. I do better at the Goodwill bins

What is the best way to reshape bags that have been misshapen? I have some that we packed not so well during our move, all designer 😒
Oh no! Girl, I've been there. 🤦♀️
If they're your pricier designer bags, then I'd definitely say just stuff the ever loving hell out of them and give it time. Like, get down in every look nook and cranny, if you can. And just set them out where they can breathe and give it time.
You can use some light heat to help speed the process up, but do it carefully!! My usual method is to get my hairdryer, turn it on low, cover the bag with a white towel, and then slowly go over the problem areas with the creases and wrinkles.
So, for your leather bags, I'd say stuff it really well (or you can use your hand on the inside when you use heat because you can adjust your hand around the crease as you need to, and it will help you gage how hot it's getting, too) put your towel over it (this keeps the direct heat off the leather, but still allows enough to get to it to be effective) and then slowly just go over the area with your blow dryer on low. It will definitely get the creases out faster, you just have to be careful because if you get the leather too hot you can actually blister it... and that's no bueno!! 😬 I'll typically do it for 10 to 15 minutes at a time and then give it a break.
Oh!! And try to lay the bag in a way that takes as much pressure off the area with the creases. It just makes it that much easier when you're not fighting gravity, too.. ya know what I mean? 😅💜
That's my best advice, and what's worked best for me.

After watching your suggestions about bags I bought the little inspired LV denim bag and switched up the strap for a chain one I had and get lots of compliments on it. I also bought a few of those tiny AirPod/ bag charm Hermes inspired bags and was lucky enough to catch a runway inspired Ralph Lauren. I’m now considering the Diane bag and tiny longchamp coin purse. We can wear them will dresses as well as pants. By the way, my run-way Ralph Lauren prototype or whatever it is, arrived yesterday and I am loving this bag. We won’t see ourselves coming and going with it unless they decide to produce it for spring/summer 2024 collection? I think I remember you showed us this bag in black however, I decided to pick up the white one which I think would be a fun-purse to carry in the summer here in Canada. I'll be interested to see if they put it into production, too. I didn't use mine. One of my other subscribers wanted to buy it so I went ahead and sold it to her. I have so many bags that I'm at the point where unless I love the bag because it's totally different to anything else I have, I'm fine with letting other people get them for a better price from me. 🙂 I have no doubt that it's fabulous in white, however!! I'm just a black bag kinda gal. I always go for black for some reason. 🤷♀️ Gosh, I've probably got at least 70+ bags in black right now... which, thinking on it now, maybe I should've went for the brown or white, because I don't have many of those at all. 😅🤦♀️

So, some of them I keep. Some go to friends and family, and then some I sell off fairly cheap. Every once in a while, when I have a bunch piled up, I do vlog sales where all the temu bags are usually $15 each, or $10 for 2 or more. Shipping included. Any bag that was under the $15 is knocked down below its price on temu because I'm not trying to make money off the sales. I'm just trying to clear them out where I accumulate them so quickly. And I came up with the basic pricing because a flat $15 will cover a regular box shipping anywhere within the US, and then $10 each for 2 or more typically covers the shipping for larger boxes and heavier weights. So I just make sure to cover the shipping, and then I pass the bags on to anyone that wants them for a good deal.

I've bought so many bags from Temu and, maybe I've just been lucky, most of them are really good quality and we're very cheap. Designer bags don't particularly do it for me as I find them to be very bland but each to their own. Temu sells some really quirky cool bags. I have to say that in general they're getting more expensive but still cheaper than Amazon or anywhere else. Love them! I love your videos - very informative.

Yeah, I'd definitely agree with that. I've noticed prices going up a bit on Temu like everywhere else now, too. 🫤 For what it's worth, I still think that they're worth their prices and you're getting a good value. Oh, and there are definitely still discount codes and coupons on temu that help bring the prices down more, too. 🙂

Hi Amber, love your channel. I have a quick question, which is a softer material PU or false leather?
Is there a difference? I’d be curious to know.
There's no difference. They're the exact same thing in most cases. What makes the difference is how they treat it or what kind of finish they give it.
So, like, faux leather that's given a "pebbled leather" look is typically going to have more texture. Whereas a faux leather that has a smooth finish will usually be softer. Just like a normal leather, really.
Then, the other thing that factors in is whether the bag is structured or not. Structured bags can have a faux leather that feels smooth, but I wouldn't necessarily call it soft... if that makes sense. Where a bag that isn't structured will be softer just due to the nature of the material being more malleable.
I'm not the very best at explaining things, so I have no idea if that makes sense or not. 🤦♀️ I hope so!

@@amberthatgirl2001 that’s a great explanation but remember that bags like Tory Burch also make structured bags with goat or lamb leather which makes them very-soft but the leather scratches easily so you have to be careful with them. Also, bonded- leather is actually made with real leather but it’s pulverized, and then a medium is added to itSo in that way, they called it real leather but a lot of people don’t consider it real leather. For example, Coach doing that now. 😉

You're free to watch or not watch anything you want. There's nothing forcing you to watch these temu hauls if you don't enjoy them. That would actually be silly to spend your time on something you don't enjoy.
Anywho, these bags aren't fakes at all. A dupe is just a bag that's inspired by another bag. But I understand what you meant. 🙂 And they're definitely inexpensive compared to other bags, for sure. Cheap, as in quality, I wouldn't agree with. Some of them are, sure. But some of the bags I've picked up from Temu could rival any contemporary bag I have in my collection. Awesome quality. 🙂
And my content hasn't changed, I've just added other things to it. I still show VB and Lug whenever I buy it, I just haven't been buying as much lately bc they haven't brought out much that I've been interested in, unfortunately. 🤷♀️
