How do you update it when a new device comes out? Can you request a device like protection pro? Will this do the film on the back as well? Will there be a device like this to do tablets or computer screens? I do mobile repairs so I’m in a van and don’t want to have a lot of equipment in there due to space. Also like having the stuff mounted down for quicker turnaround times at a customers house.
How do these films fair against impact damage? I see it definitely helps prevent scratches - but how does it help resist shattering? Generally tempered glass absorbs the impact.
They are equivalent to about a 5H or 6H hardness level. Tempered Glass is around 9H, so transparently not as strong for protection as tempered glass, but definitely great overall.
Why all the extra steps compared to my 45 second protection pro install? Why is it were always trying to over complicate solutions to problems that dont exist?
Perfect instal every time without air bubbles. Must have never had a new guy do it. I have been installing protection pro for a while and still am not perfectly aligned sometimes. Happy and excited for this new machine. I’ll still use my protection pro for bigger devices though.
You are right haha! Shay had never done an install before and it still came out perfect. But we did make a video here for how to install properly. ruclips.net/video/l3w3LyTNyh8/видео.html
love it! can't wait to pick one up!
Will cases like the defender push it up like protection pro?
We have a case friendly cut in the system which won’t push it up
@@asktronicscom What about small dust? PP seemed to take it well while standard glass does not.
@ similar to PP. Dusts doesn’t bother it much

It has a OTA firmware update for new devices.
We will have a medium film for tablets up to 10.9"

The UV is also for curing UV cured films....which I'm hoping you'll offer with this system?
We are still working that film out. It was not up to our standard yet
