Thank you for sharing! I typically bring my parents to Lawson landing but wanted to explore other spots too. Where did you park and how far is the walk from parking to this spot?
I park on Westshore drive across from Miwuk campground. Then its a slow 15-20 minute walk in the mud south to the eel grass. I’m 200 pounds so I sink into the mud a bit and it can be a bit of a workout walking in wed sand/mud.
I’m not local but the flats are submerged during normal tides. I will guess that most clams are only accessible during negative tide. 10 is the limit for any combination of Washington/horseneck clams
Nice music, great video. 😊
Happy to have found your channel. Great content. Subbed!
Thanks for the support!
Hey! Love the video, thank you for sharing. What is the best time to go??
Negative tides in the winter months.
nice video, was out getting washington clams as well; do you know if you can eat the guts on washington clams?
The bronze one looks like a varnish clam.
Dope!
Still fun to play in the mud
I think ima go clamming now
Wait for the next negative tide
Clam gun way faster and much less disruption to surrounding habitat. No back ache next day either. Not the best area for gapers.
What is the red clam call?

What's the bag limit? Is there a size limit?
Does it have to be negative tide to clam here? And what is the limit for those washington clam?

I need help finding Manila clams. Would you please send me some spots to try next? I've had no success for steamers
I haven’t had luck finding them myself but I’ve only tried once for about 5 minutes. Happy hunting
Do you know good spots for Manilas or littlenecks?
I’ve tried a spot in Bodega Bay that is featured in RUclips but no luck for me.
