I didn't know that about the females. I am a new learning Eagle and Osprey watcher. I take little videos of them for my channel that I started for my dearly departed 15 year old Dog 🐻. I have alot to learn. Praying for M-15 and babies. I am afraid Harriet is with my 🐻

They really don't want to die or get injured, just flushing intruders away. That's what was going on the day Harriet went missing. There were floaters around and probably one or more females that she went after, to ward them off. This is only the speculation of what happened, but, perhaps, the most likely scenario. 😿

This is.... FANTASTIC! MAGNIFICENT! 😍 Bravo and TYSVM! (Wait, gotta watch it again!)... She's beautiful. Her feet still seem to look so very sore to me but they look less raw than when she first showed up. I worry where she's been lately... 'Too many people hating on her and I find that sad indeed. It's so not a moral issue w/these birds but rather their way of life. Like us, they have varied experiences, varied backgrounds, differing stories... It's my feeling she is a young adult who MAY have just come into her sexual maturity and has zero experience with eaglets. No way to know her story, just my thoughts from watching all of her behaviors and ways... ~Anyhoo, I LOVE this video SO very much! It will be interesting to see what happens next season... Hopefully this one is as docile as the last one. If she takes M15's lead the e's may yet fledge. He seems to be holding out for the right lady to come along. May the miracle continue so Harriet's legacy can live on one more time.
I always thought R23-3 was stunning eagle minus wounds on feet, this video capture sure shows that. I do miss her I hope she’s okay, she was also good at keeping intruders away.

I liked this 23-3 irrespective of what's gone on before. She was a great deterrent being in the tree (to other intruders) and really seemed to want to commit to a relationship - wrong time wrong place, I suppose. She did try her hand at feeding the Es, a few times. Unfortunately, every time I looked in at night, that GHO knocked her off her perch real hard which must have been so painful. Am so hoping that GHO doesn't repel every single suitor, when M15 is ready, that is.
Other-worldly! Spectacular capture TRSP! I'm saving this one in hopes that R23-3 is able to return to the nest. I never broke stride with her, though I kept quiet not wanting backlash. I sure hope she's okay. Thank you for your photography skills and dedication to this nest.💫💐

In my opinion I think 23-3 had something to do with Harriet disappearance based on the feet injury's since eagles are know to lock feet when in fights. Just my thought on it.
