    listening to musicians I have the strong feeling I hear only 5% of a musical piece and I have no chance perceiving all the other aspects. it's very sad.

      you don't need to understand these aspects when you not a composer or concert performer

      Plus this is an excerpt, not often will you be asked to play the whole piece in audition (almost never!?)

      As a performer I can offer you some relief because we worry about all this technical stuff so the listener doesn't have to. Just enjoy the music however it makes sense for you
