I’d love to read a story like this where the guy you grew up utterly hating and always fighting with one days changes out of nowhere and you suddenly have to come to grasp with actual feeling for him and being so confused. Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes if you couldn’t tell
I think the thing I like most about this is that, during the repeated "because I can"s, it feels like what's happening on the screen is like, things Liu Qingge is allowing himself to do. Like, things he never thought he'd be allowed to do, or like, things he just flat out didn't expect to ever be a possibility, so now he's taking joy in really simple things, like spending time with this man he loves. It's really sweet.

After watching this 12 times in a row, I think I can say this is my favorite fan animation ever. I honestly forgot that the other guy was even a character before watching this and now I ship him with the main character more the the actual love interest.
rewatching this again and it really reminds me of a tumblr post I read the other day that was like... "lqg is sy's relationship with the least baggage but sy is lqg's relationship with the most" and i think youve really captured that sort of sentiment throughout this whole animation. like when you read svsss youre kind of stuck seeing sy's idea of things but. fuck man like this is exactly what lqg was doing the whole time. its insane. i would marry this video
Liushen is something I saw platonically but THIS Literally blew my weave further than the planet NASA last discovered, it's.so.cute And the way the frames get larger as their relationship grows, smooth animations and transitions, single-handedly made me adore Liushen I feel it's ironic that the song is literally about punching a wall, and LQG does just that lmao
This is SO CUTE, your LQG especially is just stupidly adorable and squishably grumpy, oh my goodness. One of my favourite ships set to one of my favourite songs! I can't even pick a favourite part, but I *love* the qi deviation scene and how you worked in the shift between LQG's feelings toward each iteration of "Shen Qingqiu," and how strange it is for him to look back on his time with the original later on. But also just...everything? LQG's awkward body language, SQQ's huge grins, the way LQG throws himself into SQQ's waiting arms after the wedding and the soft way they're breathing together as the sun comes up. There is so much joy in every moment of this I might cry.

This was so good???? The first time the kiddos attacked LQG, his reactions were so smooth and effortless and the animation was incredible and then it was hilarious the second time when they were so surprised they landed any hit at all. The genuine fear on SQQ’s face when he’s face with LQG in his qi deviation, LQG using a sword to do his eyeliner, the number of gifts LQG showered upon SQQ, just so many things about this animatic were incredible. I really hope you might make another so I can enjoy that one as well!!!

I know this is old but I keep coming back to it. I love LiuShen to bits, they have so much good chemistry and I adore their story. This animatic is so gorgeous too, so amazingly made. The animation is so smooth, the use of borders and panels is genius. And I LOVE how it frames Shen Qingqiu as this calming light that Liu Qingge looks towards... it's so wonderful. Genuinely makes my heart feel full.
I loved absolutely everything about this animatic, the contrast of LQG before and after. My favorite moments overall are the gift giving, because THAT is is the LQG we all love and adore, tsunderely holding his crush's stuff until he can give them back, etcetera. So, so wonderful. I don't even know where to start; the use of the frame and how it grows bigger as their relationship progresses, the contrast between the eyes of Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu, the smoothness in the swinging of weapons, the naturalness in each movement, even slight changes of expression.

The relationship development of LiuShen made way more sense and was way more compelling than the BingQiu storyline 😳 (hell, even QiJiu felt like they had more chemistry than the main couple lol)

I know this is old but I keep coming back to it. I love LiuShen to bits, they have so much good chemistry and I adore their story. This animatic is so gorgeous too, so amazingly made. The animation is so smooth, the use of borders and panels is genius. And I LOVE how it frames Shen Qingqiu as this calming light that Liu Qingge looks towards... it's so wonderful. Genuinely makes my heart feel full.

I loved absolutely everything about this animatic, the contrast of LQG before and after.
My favorite moments overall are the gift giving, because THAT is is the LQG we all love and adore, tsunderely holding his crush's stuff until he can give them back, etcetera. AND the picnic with the disciples, LQG killing that Mister and SQQ smiling beatifically because they are truly weirdo4weirdo 💜
