If you are trying to cut back on using new yarn vs old yard, Maybe you could do a challenge: for every skein of new yarn, you could have to use a skein of old yarn for a project.

Did you hear that Joann's filed bankruptcy 😮? A news article about it was in my news feed today! They're not closing, but they filed bankruptcy.
they filed chapter 11 for restructuring so hopefully they’ll bounce back 🙏 i’ll keep shopping at my local joann because i love the super nice employees
If there was a store closer to me I would go. The closer one is 45 minutes away 🥺. I used to love to go there when I lived in Raleigh

They have all the colors with shimmer in them as well. I found them last week at my Joanne's. I love the new color pallette. The safety yellow is WOW bright! I am making an animaguri bee with it. Love your vibe!
i’m not even super into crochet and knitting, but i’ve become a bit obsessed as a beginner. my grandma taught me how as a kid, now i’m 20 and relearning everything i can. i found this channel and i’ve nearly completed a the peekaboo top, but i’ve also just been enjoying watching her vlogs while working or laying in bed. what a chill fun time, Kelsie has such a calm voice, so much so that i enjoy watching her pattern tutorials without crocheting them 😭 her videos are just a vibe

I also grabbed the new colors of the juicy couture yarn, to make scrunchies, did you know that some of the new pastel colors come with the sparkles in it also? so exciting!😊
I also had to order from Joann's website. They seem to be very low on the Juicy Couture in assorted colors and only have the thick bulkier yarn. My grand babies order an assorted colors like the blue crush, safety yellow and a whole lot more than the stores carry. Hope your fur baby gets better soon. Happy crocheting everyone.
So I’ve made my own scrunchies with juicy yarn, and bernat yarn and the juicy is the far and away winner..but you know what’s a surprise close second?? Premier chenille from the dollar tree. No joke. If you ever have the chance to check it out it’s surprisingly good scrunchie chenille considering..

I just saw the news about Joann’s chapter 11 bankruptcy. Maybe you can talk about it and what other places you will source some of your favorite yarns. I saw juicy couture this last weekend when I was at Joann’s it feels like heaven. I’ve been a die hard Joann’s shopper for forever so I’m not even sure of other options for shipping yarn. I buy mostly Bernat blanket but sometimes Joann big twist, and some of the sugar and cream…
It's a restructuring of the business. No Joann stores are closing at least currently.
