About the show:
The nationwide search for the next superstar kicked off in August as the Idol Bus traveled covering 23 cities across the country. Auditioning was made easier than ever as hopefuls also had the opportunity to submit audition videos online as well as via select social media platforms using an official tag The Next Idol cultivating over 300,000 posts. Also for the first time in “American Idol” history hopefuls had the opportunity to audition through a livestream platform.
Helping to determine who America will ultimately vote for to become the next singing sensation are music industry forces and superstar judges Luke Bryan Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Host and producer Ryan Seacrest will return as host of the beloved series.

Tongue-tied? It's an incredibly simple, basic song. Basically a damn lullaby! The only excuse for a song like this tripping you up is if English isn't your first language and you're still less than familiar with it.
Marquito I mean I am a Laine fan, but he basically sang it the exact same way as the original and didn’t make it his own, but I loved it!

His diction in this song is on point!! Do yourself a favor and look up the lyrics and then try following along while singing all the words in understandable form at this speed. This song is harder to do than most people realize.
LOL!! The funny part is that he actually has a personal story that is all too similar to the lyrics of this song... Ask him about it sometime. It's your classic country boy's one time run in with the police kind of story.

I know it's petty, but damn it pisses me off that he gets the lyrics of the first verse wrong.

They're WALKING through the forest in the first verse, not RUNNING! They're casually walking and hanging about the forest initially. They don't start RUNNING until the 3rd verse (or the 2nd verse if you consider the part about them the Sheriff catching them in the water to be more of a bridge than a verse), once the Sheriff and his posse surround them while they're in the water and start chasing them.
Wouldn't make sense for Robin Hood & Little John to already be RUNNING through the forest BEFORE the Sheriff springs his trap on them. Plus it's better for the first part to have them walking through the forest and the SECOND part to have them running through it, as it conveys that they're being chased by the Sheriff and his posse. If they're running in both parts, the second part seems much less exciting.
