Korean food is great, and that includes "street food."
I remember the huge collection of pojang macha near Jamsil station, back in the 2000s. Drink some soju, eat some spicy food, complain about work and girls and life, all while enjoying the company of work mates and friends and the banter of the cool ajummas running the show.
For great Korean barbeque, if you're ever in Seoul, make sure you find a Hwarogui location -- you'll eat some of the best beef you've ever had.

If I ever find myself in South Korea oneday, the first thing I'd love to experience is eating on traditional market or its street food.
The more of these I watch, the more I want to eat street food rather than at a fancy schmancy restaurant.
I went to South Korea in 1972 when I was in the USAF, I had to leave after one year and regretted having to leave because of family issues back in the States.Three years later, I re-enlisted and went back to Korea and stayed for three years. I wish I could have stayed longer, but, I completely enjoyed every day there. Yes the food is amazing, away from the military bases the people are warm and welcoming, the country is beautiful as well. I've been back a couple of times, but it's been a long time. Looking forward, hopefully this covid will settle down a bit more and I can get back there.
