I don't understand this past. What is it The Bullet wanted to change? Clearly there isn't a decision he/she wanted to change, and timeline wise, there's no way The Bullet could ever fail this mission, as we not only see him alive in The Breach, but he also has the fully-powered Blasphemy.
"What is it The Bullet wanted to change?" Neither the Bullet or Robot have a past that is seemingly about changing things. It looks like the Bullet completed his task and the Robot seems unable to change his past. With that being said, I have heard theories. I saw someone post that Bullet failed originally and his unlock method is related to him losing the sword and so forth. Personally, I think the four main characters are sent back to the past to fix things and the secret characters just go to the past because the mechanic was built into the game. So their pasts are just additional levels that make sense in terms of how the game is designed. Either or, I wouldn't worry about it. "how are you liking the new update?" Overall, a bit underwhelmed. "I think its kinda lacking in lots of content" Like I don't think it is lacking in content per se, just that the update adds content in a way that feels lacking. Like I see the new enemies, the new mode is all about luck and so forth, but these things aren't common enough to feel like new content. Several runs I've gone through getting all older weapons, arrangements, guns and so forth. It also doesn't help that a lot of the newer guns I've ran across aren't that exciting. Like I got the crown and it shoots all over the place, the bullets that shoot guns and so forth, but none of them are real game changers. They're not, at least based off what I've seen, as cool as the air tank or meat shooter, nor are they as useful as the railgun and things like that. The biggest new thing are the endings, which are nice, but they also have only so much value and the ability to leave and restart. The latter is nice for people looking to train or leave, but that's about it. Overall, I think they might've also oversold it. I saw a lot of hype come from them over the update and I was expecting the game to be a lot different, where as my first run was pretty much the same as any other run, except I saw a key enemy once. "free you cant ask for the world." This is also true. It's good for the price, but overall it could've done a fair bit more.
yea i agree, also getting to the past as those 2 characters anyway is quite hard, especially for a new player (imo) so making that the main draw to the new update was kinda a screw up. i think they just over hyped it because its the first one, and the game is kinda slowing down in community and replay ability. i feel like another contributor to the disappointment is the hope for isaac type dlcs, adding shit tons of content at one large poof, but like i said and like you discussed its a free update so you cant expect an entire new game. the delay kinda killed this dlc, they could have crammed so much more content into that lost time, but hey im not a programmer so i dont know how hard that type of stuff is to make and get out. but flaws aside, at least its a reason to keep playing this game!
"yea i agree, also getting to the past as those 2 characters anyway is quite hard, especially for a new player (imo)" The Robot is a nightmare, if only for the limited health sources and lower overall health, but Bullet isn't too bad. His difficulty comes from the fact you need full health or to be lucky to really have any sort of chance at winning. I do find it interesting they made Bullet's past among the harder ones. "making that the main draw to the new update was kinda a screw up. " Well, Enter the Gungeon has always swayed more to the hardcore side, so that doesn't surprise me. It also isn't like the game is one where any character is easy to pick up and master. I've seen a good number of people post here that they can't get past stage X or Y, so mentioning something that brings people back makes sense. I do think the update also makes things easier in a way that is harder to market without saying the game was dumbed down. Things like more keys, better drop rates and so forth just comes off that way, even if it is done in a way that is acceptable. "i think they just over hyped it because its the first one, and the game is kinda slowing down in community and replay ability." Maybe, but it's easy to forget that we're an outsider looking in. While it's just a couple stages, few new enemies, two or three new costumes, the amount of time/effort/money that went into is much higher than meets the eye. The best way I can think of to explain this is back when I worked at a bagel shop. We had a client that wanted smaller bagels, something a couple customers also wanted, but the act of making bagels smaller is far harder than it sounds. On the machine we would have to lower the number, which is easy, but due to the size of the former, several bagels would come out as sticks instead of round. On average it would take us twice as long to do a batch that was roughly 20 percent smaller, which is a lot of money when you think about it. " i feel like another contributor to the disappointment is the hope for isaac type dlcs" Maybe, but I think it is more psychological than anything else. Like I explained above, adding new enemies/weapons relies on RNG. For instance, there is like seven new enemies, yet I only seem to run into two or three regularly and even then they're not that common. For guns/items, several of them need to be unlocked, so there are really only five or six new ones at first, with maybe 30 total after unlocks. This basically means, the base game will look/feel the same, simply because it will mostly be the same, even if there is new stuff.
I wonder if the boss has a shit ton of health and the sword does decent damage, or if the boss has very low health and the sword does damage worse then any other weapon in the game.
In the legend of zelda a link to the past, Link get the sword of her FATHER and in enter the gungeon bullet get the sword of her FATHER COINSIDENCE ???
No. No one seems to be able to tell me conclusively what the pilot is referencing, so I'm lead to believe he is just a general reference to classic games like Space Invaders or Gradius. The Robot is also a pretty obvious reference to the movie franchise Terminator.

how are you liking the new update? i think its kinda lacking in lots of content, but meh its free you cant ask for the world.
"how are you liking the new update?"
Overall, a bit underwhelmed.
"I think its kinda lacking in lots of content"
Like I don't think it is lacking in content per se, just that the update adds content in a way that feels lacking.
"free you cant ask for the world."
This is also true. It's good for the price, but overall it could've done a fair bit more.
I didn't even know there was an update until I checked the news section on the steam community hub.
yea i agree, also getting to the past as those 2 characters anyway is quite hard, especially for a new player (imo) so making that the main draw to the new update was kinda a screw up. i think they just over hyped it because its the first one, and the game is kinda slowing down in community and replay ability. i feel like another contributor to the disappointment is the hope for isaac type dlcs, adding shit tons of content at one large poof, but like i said and like you discussed its a free update so you cant expect an entire new game. the delay kinda killed this dlc, they could have crammed so much more content into that lost time, but hey im not a programmer so i dont know how hard that type of stuff is to make and get out. but flaws aside, at least its a reason to keep playing this game!
"yea i agree, also getting to the past as those 2 characters anyway is quite hard, especially for a new player (imo)"
The Robot is a nightmare, if only for the limited health sources and lower overall health, but Bullet isn't too bad. His difficulty comes from the fact you need full health or to be lucky to really have any sort of chance at winning.
I do find it interesting they made Bullet's past among the harder ones.
"making that the main draw to the new update was kinda a screw up. "
Well, Enter the Gungeon has always swayed more to the hardcore side, so that doesn't surprise me.
"i think they just over hyped it because its the first one, and the game is kinda slowing down in community and replay ability."
Maybe, but it's easy to forget that we're an outsider looking in.
" i feel like another contributor to the disappointment is the hope for isaac type dlcs"
Maybe, but I think it is more psychological than anything else.
The leghend of zelda
The image in the final are of Zelda 2
Watching in 2020?
I wonder if the boss has a shit ton of health and the sword does decent damage, or if the boss has very low health and the sword does damage worse then any other weapon in the game.
low damage because you have the gun nuts with the flails as comparison
bruh I was on the first fight not knowing what to do for while
In the legend of zelda a link to the past, Link get the sword of her FATHER and in enter the gungeon bullet get the sword of her FATHER COINSIDENCE ???
That’s actually kinda the point
Did you just call Link a “her”?
The only reason I got through this fight was I got a stupid amount of armor
I mean, a win is a win.
Is this the new ping pong game?
Wait the first boss is the alive version of the minibikes you can find
minibikes lmao, you mean the dark magician?
Absurdly tedious and unfun infuriating past to beat, devs absolutely failed to make a fun game on this part
I agree this shit so boring and annoying
Objectively incorrect. It was honestly pretty fun beating Cannon hitless
I think you just suck at video games tbh
thats alot of damage
man looking at this figjt, whem does a reference cross the line to the "copy" territory

OOOOOOOF
I used the gun on the bullet and I didn’t get his past it just send me back to the breach and tips on how or why it didn’t work for me?
Babe toi the bullet who kill the past?
You need to unlock the bullet that kills the past first. Just look up a guide to get that I’m too lazy to explain
Do you need to grab the shell casing to get the true ending?
No
Only me have a big bug whit the start sword of the bullet (Pg)? After some rooms the "sword" don t shot any other sword like a pistol. I hate this
A bit late, but: As in the Zelda games with the mastersword, you need to be at full health to shoot sword beams.
Are all endings a reference to games? I mean Convict is Miami Hotline and Marine is Doom and etc
No.
No one seems to be able to tell me conclusively what the pilot is referencing, so I'm lead to believe he is just a general reference to classic games like Space Invaders or Gradius. The Robot is also a pretty obvious reference to the movie franchise Terminator.
Oh alright
Admiral Vic actually it's been confirmed by dodge roll games on twitter that the pilot is a reference to Firefly the tv show
wow that actually makes sense
I love gungeon but the fact that bullet is mainly an RNG based unlock is bullshit
isnt the bunny suit for bullet another reference to zelda?
Cade Muhle Muhle yeah
Huh, I thought it was a Furi reference
i know it’s been two years and nobody is gonna respond but i just want to ask, is the reference the bunny you turn into if you go into the dark realm without that crystal thing?
@@door9520 yes
This game it's like dark souls but 2d
This game beats dark souls with starting weapon, no levelling and zero damage taken.
The last line of the first boss you fight is similar to agunim 🤔
Aquatik Re he literally is agunim
How do I unlock lich
How to access the level with The Bullet's past? The Smith on the 5th level refuses to give me the bullet that can kill the past..
Do you have the update?
actually no
PING PONG!
How did you beat the game under 200 deaths?
as in dragun, i beat it in like 150
I beat my first past in 61 deaths
@@aratherlargerodent do u have a screenshot

Worst past, bored and rng gameplay😷
LINK TO THE PAST IS MEH FAVORIOT GAME BOY GAME :D
I see what you did there.
wait: blasfemi was all ready "complet"...so i goes we miss something here... new dlc confirmed ?? xDD
There should be checkpoints along the way instead of starting all over again I can’t do 127 floors in one go
There are shortcuts in the game. You can unlock one that starts you straight at the forge, so if you really want to you can just do that
The shortcuts exist but they cost alot of shit to make.
I think you can give the guy master rounds or something.
The point of roguelikes and roguelites is that you only have 1 chance and if you die, you start another run. These games wouldn't be the same without this aspect of the gameplay.
God I’ll never get the bullet
Not with that attitude young man
Just cheat.
did you get them yet
HYAAAAAAAAA
Fuck i lost this is outdated
