Your absolutely right about country courses, they are often in excellent condition with a great mix of holes. If they were in Auckland they would be an absolute fortune to play and tee times would be a nightmare. I always try and get out of Auckland and play a few country courses a year.
My home town.. Got my name up on The Hole in One Board in the clubhouse 👍 Aced the 5th in 2007 but didn't see it go in lol... my shot looked to be heading for the right greenside bunker but hit about half a metre from the bunkers edge and scootered off to the left... nek minnit after T Hayes and I were looking all around for the ball we took a peek in the hole . 🤣😂😂
