The Georgetown Hoyas defeated the Memphis Tigers, 79-70 in overtime at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC.
The Hoyas were led by DaJuan Summers with 21 pts, 7 rbs, with Chris Wright, Austin Freeman and Greg Monroe also scoring in double figures.
The Tigers were lead by Shawn Taggert with 23 pts, 11 rbs, and got 20 points from Tyreke Evans, albeit on 24 shots.
