@homonid8 Just because you eliminated these teams 10 years ago, it doesn't make you a super team.. don't forget that Wisla is a shadow of their past. I have seen your recent results in Europe, and there isn't one that impresses me.. On the other hand APOEL in the last years eliminated teams like Slovan, Partizan, Red Star, Copenhagen, Jablonec, Maccabi, and managed draws with Chelsea, Atletico and Getafe.. And I repeat these matches are recent ones, and not 10 years ago.
Your first mistake would be to underestimate us (although we would surely wish you to do so!). When we were playing in the Champions League against teams like Chelsea and Porto, you were getting beaten by village teams like Levadia Tallin and Qarabag.. No question why Paulista, Zewlakow and Kosowski left your little team to play in APOEL!! As for your fans, they will be left simply dazed and stunned by the atmosphere created on the orange stand
@seitanAZ Yeah - but where were you playing when we did eliminate (not only "play against") teams like Schalke, Parma, Real Saragossa, Trabzonspor, Iraklis, Hajduk Split? Ofcourse every team has good seasons and bad in Europe - we will see which one has better this year. We all know it will be hard game - there is no weak clubs in this round... btw - Żewłakow did never play for Wisła, and Paulista and Kossowski left Wisła when we didn't give them new contracts - they where not needed here
