- Child custody hearing. Here's a summary of the key issues and the judge's ruling:
Key Issues:
Joint Managing Conservatorship: Both parents agreed to this.
Possession Schedule (Visitation): Initially, there was a disagreement. The current, informal arrangement is Dad having the child Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; Mom having the child Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. The specifics of pick-up and drop-off times were negotiated during the hearing.
Child Support: The main point of contention. Mom requested child support to help cover daycare expenses. A child support officer calculated a monthly amount of $305. Dad argued he shouldn't pay because he already contributes significantly to the child's care and expenses.
Medical Insurance: Mom agreed to maintain the government health plan, and Dad agreed to pay $94 per month in cash medical expenses.
Geographic Restrictions: Mom wanted no restrictions on where she could live, citing her plans to pursue a welding career which might require relocation. Dad wanted restrictions to keep the child within the local area.
Communication: Mom expressed concerns about communication issues with Dad, particularly when she needed him to pick up the child for work. She requested the use of a communication app.
Overall: The judge opted for a temporary order to allow the parents time to adjust to the changes and to reassess the situation after Mom graduates from welding school and secures employment. A final hearing was scheduled for February 2025 to review the temporary order and make any necessary modifications. The judge emphasized the need for a more structured and predictable schedule moving forward.

I have to say this judge has it all wrong. This man needs a lawyer absolutely.
Great Video, looking forward to the Update
It's not child support, it's mummy money!
I don’t blame the dad wanting to appeal it. I wish he had an attorney. The mom shouldn’t have done this because he can make her life very difficult now by doing just standard visitation. He was doing everything he could but she still wanted more. She made her bed so she can go lay in it now
This judge is terrible don’t know were they get some of theses judges. He needs a lawyer asap child support should be zero. I hope he gets one. He might be screwed anyways since this judge does not know what she is doing.
This is BS
If the dad has 4 days out of the week and the mom continuously changing her schedule and jobs. He shouldn’t pay child support. I can see him paying a bit of daycare but that’s it. Yes, the dad says he doesn’t have a set schedule but his schedule is more stable than the mom. The mom even admits that she sometimes too tired to even spend time with her own child.
I mean I could understand paying child support if it’s 50/50 and one parent makes a ton of money over the other. But this here is just unacceptable.
Why don’t these people document everything. If they were having problems. 😮 you have to have proof in court, not just guessing.😮
This judge really messed up the responsible parent, which is the father
The judge didn't listen at all! Mom admitted she only sometimes gets the child on sundays, so Dad technically had 5 nights and mom has 2 nights! Dad should be primary! The judge totally dropped the ball with this one! Jose needs an attorney ASAP!!! And Sierraa needs to pick a job already!
This is sickening. Everyone admitted dad has the kid 4 nights out the week. Everyone basically agreed that dad has done what he could to help mom w ALL her career adventures. It’s obvious her job hopping is keeping everyone else unstable. This judge made sure to dick dad. Not only is he having to pay child support for a kid he’s got more but then they fixed the ordered so that when mom hops to her next career choice dad loses his time w his son, he goes from 4 nights a week to every other weekend, where is that fair? Dad needs to document every night he has his child, every dime he pays to support the kid, then after a year he needs to get an attorney and get custody of this child, so it can have some stability. I don’t see it having any w mom, she basically admitted that she planned to travel once out of school, that’s not stable for any child. This whole court case was a joke.
He needs an attorney! 😢😢😢😢
This judge is horrible. I hope he appeals with a lawyer.
The Judge is weak..
I don't like this judge
Me either, I can’t stand her. She doesn’t even try to hide her bias
I can't stand her because she always seemed confused and can't keep up with the proceedings. I feel she is highly inefficient. And yes, she is incredibly biased towards mothers.
I haven’t finished it yet, but with only hearing the testimony:
geographic restriction. As a welder by trade you can not keep a child full time and chase shutdown work
They should split healthcare cost.
The state representative the mother.. who are they fooling
This is just further proof that the AG and some of these judges work for the mother. How do you order the parent with 4 overnight to pay the other parent child support. This system is absolutely ridiculous.
38:13 Jose is right, and he deserves primary custody, Sierra is unstable, she keeps changing her career, Dad has Evver 90% of the time, if anything SHE should be paying him support and 1/2 for daycare.
What I’m saying
What in the world??...this Mom is not primary of anything but her ever changing career... get that kid with his stable Dad and she can visit ... Duh!! he needs a lawyer
Dad has the child the majority of the time. Still, the judge gives mom the right to decide where the child lives. Ridiculous. All this to get child support out of him for that title 4D benefit.
This is the stuff that’s needs to be brought before the city counsel or senators or however you all do it in the states.
Wow. I normally like this judge, but this was super unfair to the Dad. She should’ve, at least, EXPLAINED her reasoning - but the only thing she gave him was “50/50 doesn’t always mean no child support.”
When parents share joint custody, the parent that makes more money should be the one that pays. The child should have equality in both homes.
However, with that said, if the parent who gets the support, doesn’t spend the same amount on the life of the child as the other, and visa versa, then it isn’t fair on the child. No child should have to stay in one home where all needs are met, then go to his or her second home and live without. Unfortunately, men receive higher wages in this country, than women, so because of that, men typically are the ones to pay support.
A lot of ppl bitch because dads are being ordered to pay support at higher rates than women, but, it’s because of the above reason (higher wages) and also because of the fact that most men don’t fight hard enough for full custody (being a part time parent is fun for them).
Many states have CS paid in 50-50 time share if there's significant income disparities.
But I also am uncertain why Dad is paying given he doesn't earn as much as her.
Weird to me that they’d pay grandma the same amount as a daycare & dad has a right to say he doesn’t want his child around new partners but he doesn’t really get to choose when his ex starts to date again. Maybe he just said it poorly. I know Baker is going to make dad pay child support & I think once mom starts her welding job, he should take her for support because by then she’ll be making more money.
If a dad was changing careers like this mom is there would be no sympathy or leeway.
Egg-Zacly
Why is the court asking for child support from the dad??
We must have been posting the exact same comment at the same time.
I’m curious on she came up with the child support plan without any explanation. I don’t see how this is legal? He has the child for the majority of time and they are both working.
@@fishercourt Look up TITLE IV-D of the 1975 Social Security Act. More dads paying more support means more kick-back money from the federal government in the form of 'grants' to the states for 'collections and enforcement'. In it's purest form it's called 'racketeering'.
This above. If it’s 50/50 it should be 0 child support.
It’s because his income is higher than hers. Let’s hope she graduates from welding school and gets a better pay job. If her income is equal to or greater than his then he most likely won’t pay anything. The idea is that kids have the same type of living situation in bother homes.
@ that still doesn’t make sense he has the child 4/7 days so why would he pay child support ?
Why is getting more time with the child, more than 60% of the time.
So, why is this judge making THE DAD pay the MOM child support?
Can anyone please explain this ruling on child support when the judge DID NOT EXPLAIN WHY SHE MADE THAT RULE?

He wasnt pay grandma anything
He said he had some check stubs, even if he wasn’t, neither was she
She wasn't and hasn't been paying for anything
The GALL of this Woman.
Constant changes in this child's life and Everyone around her JUST TO SUIT HER..
