I was just talking to a friend and I said how I couldn’t get any cheap Jenna blocks where I live, well I’ve never found any anyway. He offered to cut me a whole lot out of some wood and he is also going to get me a whole of of scrap wood and cut it for me. It’s going to be like Christmas and birthdays all at once. I can’t drive anymore as my vision is no good anymore so it’s going to be awesome for me. I’m so happy as I haven’t been able to get any at all. If I could find anything like what you guys get at the Dollar Tree or any of your online stores, it would be a miracle and the cost would be sky high anyway. Everything here is so much more expensive, like what you get for under $5 I would have to pay nearly $30 for and that would only be if I were lucky enough to find anything. Even our thrift stores etc. are so expensive it’s not funny, we may as well go and buy new cos sometimes would be cheaper than the thrift store. Anyway my rant over. Hey Dee! All of these DIYs are just fabulous and beautiful. I admire how you use the tower blocks and they always look great. I can glue them together and not touch them for 24 hours and as soon as I start with the other parts of the piece, it all starts to fall apart. I use Dollar Tree wood glue and sometimes gorilla wood glue and get the same results. So what am I doing wrong? I love the tower blocks and how they look in your projects. I love watching your videos and recreating some of them. I'm not giving up on the tower blocks. TFS, be safe and be blessed. 💙💙💙💙💙
Love your style of crafting!!! Also love that you give a variety of ways to use the finished projects. Gets the ideas flowing. I always debate whether to paint/stain the tower blocks first before gluing or visa versa. Sometimes my gluing needs work and the paint/stain doesn’t stick cuz my glue is messy. Any tips?
If you plan on using glue for bonding, I recommend staining beforehand. Most stains can not penetrate glue. If you want to use antique wax apply after bonding.
Quick idea - for the hexagons- instead of doing a wooden back how about we cover the backing with fake moss and rocks 😁 and different color little flowers

Hi the succulent wall hangings, are ok to display outdoors hung in a fence?
If you use the box lids, they will not be weatherproof. The Dollar Tree does have wood hexagons that you can treat to be out in the weather.
