One of the debuffs should've been playing in greyscale. Some of the ink colors are almost indistinguishable with greyscale enabled.

As someone who actually played a few games in greyscale to do some science with splattercolor screen
...I can say with certainty that starburst would've adapted no problem lmao
It seems all it takes to be a pro is to kindly ask the opposing team to only use burst bombs... and ask for turf war. I think you're ready to take it to the championship! 🤣

ALSO Mellana: stick controls + no swimming + having a video blasting their ears + burst bombs only (no hate just thought the fact you piled their debuffs after a few games was funny lmao)
This is a fun concept. I'm pretty sure Starburst got some lessons as well playing you guys. That burst bomb wave is..... a fun time!

as somebody who has had to learn stick controls since my body just doesnt like motion, it's really funny watching some of the best players in the world struggle on it. I acknowledge that I'm not great yet, my team is only DIV 8, but at least now I know I'm better than starburst at something

@@MellanaTV Yeah I would be like:
They can't start a fight and they can't team fight or 1v1. Of course, this also means the other players can't be painting for any advantage. Definitely a super huge debuff in a team game 😏
If thats not enough, then that debuff plus they all have to use a weapon that is "bad" with no sub/special use. So maybe H-3 or something (....even as an H-3 enjoyer).
And a fun debuff would be like "play with the game upside down in handheld" 🙃

a lot of comp players don't because it's harder to react quickly and accurately to things happening in the game (esp since there's no aim assist in splatoon) but kudos to you if you can make it work for yourself!! :)

The sets were awful where the casuals where just heavily destroyed in everyone game mode except clam blitz. This was rough to watch but the did manage to win a game of turf war the mode where the final thirty seconds matters the most where the enemy gave the match away. At the end of the video it seem that every one had fun so that is all that matters to the casual group.
I am curious to know how much it cost team star busrts to play against the splatoon RUclipsrs minus one to play a scrimmage set, unless the channel host has great connections even if she has commentary over many of star bursts Nintendo worlds matches.
This is why comp players doesn't like to play with casual
