You should've played this with the Super Game Boy pallete instead. i'm kinda surprised this GB version that was not made by Konami was actually released in japan. either way, just play the original SNES release over this.
I already know that, in fact they also worked on a Star Wars game for the Gamecube that is very well made in graphics. however i wouldn't say they did an amazing job with porting this game to the Game Boy, to me this game is just not as fun to play as Operation C/Probotector for the GB.
Could've bought this game for about 2 bucks many years ago, passed on it as I didn't like it. Now it's worth quite a bit more money.
0:30 would be a pretty good gif
Somehow the GameBoy fit the top down segments, but not the GameBoy Advance.
Putz joguei horrores no meu Game Boy, Super vídeo 👏👏👏

It was made by defunct developer, Factor 5, the same team known for Turrican.

Ah childhood.
I don't see the level 1 ground fire in the video. It probably used some sort of flickering effect on a real Game Boy.
CONTRA SPIRITS GAME BOY
I do always prefer the Probotectors!
