This is such a beautiful lesson and a great way to learn and practice playing in multiple keys..! Thanks so much..!
You're very welcome!
Thanks for this, Sir. 🙌🏽 I’d really appreciate if you do more of Jon McReynolds progressions.(Like this one of course)😊 🙏🏽
Hey guys use these progressionu to create melodies and ideas for talk music.
Also if you struggle playing in all of your keys use the circle of 4ths/5ths when modulating to learn chord relationships. This will teach you how to borrow chords.
Boy! Your touch is sick! That was dope!
Appreciate it! 🙏🏾
WOWW!! This is insane and super instructive, thank you for doing all 12 keys! I'm sure it was maybe a little boring for you but it was so helpful. We appreciate you!! God bless!!
Not boring at all haha! Love sharing what I learn with you guys.
FANTASTIC! Thank you. I am going to make this my first big push myself.
Awesome! Go for it
We never stop learning through you... I've personally really improved on my touch and vocalisation!
So glad my videos are of help!
@@EmanuelBlancoPiano Hi maybe a bit unrelated but u was listening to music just now when the song wonderful merciful saviour hit me. Man I think this is just the kind of song that allows for creativity and alternative approaches withouth necessarily taking away from the song. Think it can be great for you to do another tutorial based off the song. Thought I should share hope this humble request meets you safe. Thanks for the immense help you giving us.
Bro, I just found your video and really like the way you play, you sound. I told myself: this is where I want to go with my piano level. Great work. Thank you for sharing !!! 🙂
Appreciate it bro! Still trying to learn and share as I learn.
Love this, keep it up! Could you also do a tutorial for "your world" by Jonathan mcreynolds this would be very helpful!
Great
you are too good bro....
I really wish I could play as well as this. Seeing you play it on all keys fluently is mind blowing. I’ve been playing the piano and I’m only fluent on C# so I tend to transpose a lot to that key😢. But this is encouraging. The B flat had a nice bass rhythm by the way😂. Good job
You’ve got this! It’s all a matter of repetition and muscle memory. Try to push yourself not to use transpose even if you sound worse in a key you’re not familiar with.
Great advice Sir, Pls do a breakdown of he "turned it" by tye tribett, thanks for all you do!
Thx maestro
@Emanuel Blanco Piano ,Hi maybe a bit unrelated but u was listening to music just now when the song wonderful merciful saviour hit me. Thank you for the suggestion!
Hey sir , this is amazing ....using your videos im slowly moving away from just being fluent in F# , i now have B and C# coming along ....amazingly what should be the easiest ( C )is giving me headache lol
That's a first. Good luck. You will get there
Could you do a tutorial for Ordinary just won't do by Commissioned? Thank you.
❣️❣️❣️
Please can u make a video on days of Elijah by joyous celebration
Please master, you can play Hosanna of Kirk Fanklin
Mr Emanuel, play "Thank You" by Benjamin Dube please
Please sir, could you do the breakdown of the song appeal by Kirk Franklin. I beg you please, because the modulations and chords progressions that are in there are essential for my growth as a gospel musician. Thanks in advance.🙏
Such a nice video.
Please Emmanuel Blanco Do the tutorial or rather reharm of the song look and live I have a message from the lord hallelujah!
Hi Emanuel. Could you make a tutorial on how tu play "A ti sea la gloria" by Marcela Gándara. i love that song and it seems that there is no video on advanced harmony about this song. It would be awesome if you can make a tutorial my friend. That is the one that is left in your channel. Cheers and blessings...
I'll add it to my list, thanks!
Hi can you please do it in the key of C🙏
How long did it take you to play the 12 keys?
Just practice a chord progression that contains all the chords of that key and do the same for all the keys and you will experience change even in a month
You don't have to take long if you know all the keys they are being used differently on other keys , simple , what's difficult for me is to include scales
@@unqlegregg8246 for the scales you need to practice your scales on all keys. Learning scales would be a lot easier than learning chords once you start.
I think you can learn with 3-4 months. But it’s a skill your always improving.
Just practicing all scales, modes and the likes
Main information is practice like you love it
What are the scale degrees in relation to the tonic? I’m getting confused by your enharmonics and the chords displayed.
I - IV - (vii° - III ) OR (ii° - V/VI) - vi - II OR (V/V) - V
what are the numberbs to these chords? is it 1,4,7,3,6(11),2,5?
Yeah that's correct
This is actually a PJ Morton progression. This is a song PJ wrote and Jonathan reworked but it’s the same chords
Keyscape?
1 4 7 3 6 2 5 kinda ting 🔥🔥🔥 heard you bro
Jazz is 'enharmonically blind to an extent' but let triads (and 7ths be triands'. Eg either C# E# G# or Db F Ab
I believe PJ Morton is the writer of this song🙏🏾
Canwesort the enharmonics out
Please breakdown God will work it out Maverick City Music 🎶
You are in D flat major ,not C# major, especially if you talk about C and F chords.
If you want to really think of it in C# major ( which is not recommanded ) you have to call them E# and B# .
great video as always otherwise !
either way...just pick one and be consistent. if you start with C#, your third chord is technically a B#, followed by E#...A#...D#...G#. If you want to call that last sequence F...Bb...Eb...Ab...then you'd start with DbMaj...Gb...C....
This is a very standard jazz progression. see "Autumn Leaves' or "Fly me to the moon", or even "I will Survive".
Everybody learning and stealing from the black pianist! 🤣 He ain't played this song in nobody church
