This is crazy. I was just at this location yesterday. I did the bounty hunter mission here but forgot to grab the guy's gun after capturing him, so I went back to see if it was still there (it wasn't) but in doing so, I discovered the plunger lol I did grab the knife but did not see the hat at all LOL guess I'm going back (again)
Of course you keep it, just like any other saveable found hat. You get the little pop up on the right that you've picked it up. It's in your wardrobe and you can select it to store on your horse for when you need to use it later.
@@jstnsmutek me too. But it’s especially great when you are scavenging in dark shacks in first person. Also, going inside dark caves with this lantern in first person is a different kind of thrill! I also do it in a dark room, on a 55” LG C1 OLED!
