- This is a review on the Kondo KHR3 Humanoid Robot from Japan. I have not made any code nor hardware changes to it yet. My thought on how the KHR3 differs from the Bioloid Premium & Bioloid GP.
Thank you my client for letting me borrow his robot to do this review.

I had no idea that robotics had come so far that it could be this advanced and be a toy you can buy a whole 6 years ago.... We really only have its 'brains' to progress and we will have robot helpers become as common as car ownership.
DrGerou2001 is the best this one is like old version of many of his projects
good robot. I like it
I will get this soon! Maybe before InMoov!

I'm thinking about getting a robot. I'm new to robots but I want a good one right away. Would you recommend This KHR or the Bioloid Premium. They are roughly the close in price when I check Amazon. Can you give a short Pro/Con list for both.
Thanks UncleBob!

I have got the Kondo KHR-3 with 22DOF in my opinion khr3 looks much better (more human like) smoother movements ,build quality ,stronger servos atc..
however there is not much information/support in english ,even the HTH program is very poorly translated (you are kind of on your own with robot from KONDO ),so i would recommend more Bioloid Premium ! unless you can speak Japanese :)
if i would choose again i would buy the bioloid GP its more expensive but I believe cant go wrong with that one ;)
please tell me its programme
price of this? cant see link .thanks
please how to make show
These servos are dual shaft or single shaft?
servo are single shaft
Is this thing still worth it in 2023?
Cómo puedo comprarlo? Soy de Perú Latinoamericana
If I bought this robot do I have to learn Japanese? Uncle Bob.
software and manual is available in english on official Kondo page kondo-robot.com/for_english
Software seems not 100% English. I am using an iphone japanese OCR to help. As of today, the English manual seems to be for previous version of the software.
Dear uncle Bob kondo website have the instructions in english will that help me?
You should take a look in detail whether those instructions are sufficient. I don't feel it is at the moment.
Do you own all of these? Are they given to you for review? I defiantly can't afford a kit in one payment. There should be a way to by piece by piece until you have a kit... The company will still get their moneys worth, maybe even more, from us "working folk".
So you want a system that allows you to pay in small increments, but still receive your product while the company you're purchasing from still gets their money... You mean a "credit card"?
I've built plenty of projects buying piece by piece... As I saw fit. Didn't pay a CC company a dime more than buying it outright. It is also a learning process that can build a community for others who are interested in robotics. I would rather not be in debt by way of my hobbies.
teach me to make a robot pliiis, I want to be your student🙏🙏

Does this very expensive robot do anything that is remotely useful that a phone cannot already do? Does it cook, clean, walk the dog, pick up laundry, charge itself, work, make money, draw, motivate or anything else worthwhile??
Robots like this are made as experimentation platform, not as household robots or similar. The point is to develop software for robots.
It’s about 12 inches high and it’s entire limbs consist of the servos. So probably not. I think you’re thinking of the Asimo sized ones. They can’t even cook and they’re in the hundreds of thousands. Robotics is like the early computers. They cost a fortune for machines that don’t actually do very much.
