So the way Sixth Sense is worded, I'm pretty sure the creature's controller draws when it deals combat damage, cause the enchantment grants the ability to the creature itself.
... and there's issues with custody battle, I think they can just keep passing it around between two players, so it never has to attack even if it's goaded. Fun, but kind of a nonbo.
@Hagge95 the creature is still goaded, so Kaima still gets the +1/+1 counter. And putting Custody Battle on a creature that wants to attack but can't because no one wants to sac a land is still pretty good utility.
From what I googled it seems that "you" on a Magic Card always refers to the Controller and not the owner. That makes a lot of his choices questionable at best.
Definitely be careful about the wording, some of those auras don't work the way you'd want them to when place on your opponent's creatures, like Sixth Sense. My random recommendation is Creeping Renaissance, as a way to get back all your auras. You don't have access to mass aura reanimation, but rebuying all your auras can be a good backup plan.
Man I love me some Lust for War. I dunno if it's too low powered for Commander but I any case this would be the deck for it. Brings me some good memories of ROE limited
This deck is so sweet. More and more Ive become a fan of force combat as even the most mild decks out there tend to puke out a bunch of creatures then sit there waiting for an opportunity to attack. Which leads to board stall, so making them *do* it but not at me is right up my alley for commanders at least in red.
Brand of Ill Omen's cumulative upkeep can be managed with a Braid of Fire. You can also use Vernal Equinox to be able to play creatures and enchantments at flash speed.
Missed opportunity to use Soul's Fire to shoot and kill a person with your commander once he grows big enough. I would also add fling spells as a countermeasure to having your commander targeted, I would always leave the mana open and just bluff like crazy to people who want to get rid of him.
Custody battle is really interesting, but I don't think it'd work with goad. I think the creature would just get traded on each player's upkeep before they'd have to attack. It'd be useful for attaching to creatures with interesting activated abilities though. Activate then trade on each upkeep.
In any case the owner of the creature presumably put it in his deck for a specific purpouse, so he'd be losing that effect and giving it to someone who can't take advantage.
@@edhdeckbuilding built my own Kaima deck and got out Custody Battle. Just watched my buddy's commander get traded around the table for 3 turn cycles. People really hate losing lands.
The reason I'm not running a lot of bestow creatures is because of how mana intensive they are. The only one I have in my deck is Noble Quarry as an extra Lure effect for when I need that creature to die.
Put an assault suit in that deck and you're good. Problem with decks like this is you can do everything you can to keep the commander alive but someone makes you sacrifice it and you're screwed.
That is why if would build the deck with fling-style effects so I can threaten people who are trying to remove it. Most people would not want to have this big guy flung at them.
i wish he got hexproof or indestructible if u have an aura on like 3 creatures you dont control it seems too easy to buff ur opponents creatures for the goad and they just remove ur commander and hit you instead overall pretty disappointed for this commander especially only in 2 colors

Same for Hexproof. The creature gets it so it works as usual for them.
Gotta be really careful with many of these cases.

why does six sense not draw you a card?
@@Jeramiahstool Because it grants the ability to the creature, it is not a latent ability of the aura. Compare it and keen sense.
You never know what useful cards he’ll dredge up from that past that frankly most don’t know about. 👍🏻
I really like all the commanders that control combat, I'm glad they're exploring that area
You should definetly add "Mark of Fury". It's repeatable Goad, Carddraw (with enchantress effect out), and a haste Enabler.
I’m so happy you’ve looked at this commander it’s the first in a long time I’ve looked at and got so excited for
I love the way demo builds his decks.
I just noticed the Princess Mononoke reference in this commander’s art.

That damage doubler which between two opponents is a good fit too. Bitter feud was it? Also some mean cards like heatstroke
Song of Serenity is a nice safety valve for when Kaima gets removed. It can also help you close out the game as a sort of mass Pacify.
I love your videos thank you so much for making this.
Rofellos's Gift would be a nice addition
I'm building Kaima, should be relatively easy to do on a budget!
Is Kosei next? 😢No one has done a deck tech for him yet and I need some more ideas for my deck!
Hornbash Mentor and Slippery Bogbonder would be a good start. Maybe Ring of Kalonia, that covers two of the three bases by itself.
Alpha authority on a menace creature.
Man I would love for demo to do a mono black deck tech for me.

I'm really shocked by the number of people in the comments who don't understand how auras work. Why not look at the rules before commenting?

it only gets traded if you don't sacrifice a land. i think most people would sac the land to keep their creature.

Why not put bestow creatures as well as lycids or however they are called
Bestow tends to be higher cost

Let's be honest if you didn't cover this now you'd probably have it in an underappreciated video in a year
