Today's reading from "The Courage to Change" refers to how we tend to want other people to change and they would be better and we would be happy if they just did what we wanted them to!
Instead of "taking someone else's inventory" (e.g., "this person would be acceptable to me if they changed this or did that"), we can choose to focus on ourselves and observe our OWN unloving behavior that we can change or learn how to become more loving OURSELVES...if we spent as much time reviewing and changing our unloving thoughts, actions, and behaviors and make them into loving ones, there would be a lot less friction in the world. And the world would become more loving because YOU changed!
Simple truth:
You do not need someone else to change so you can be ok.
Remember that.
And Jesus tells us to do that as well in Matthew:
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
When you catch yourself judging someone based on their behavior or appearance or personality, ask yourself, "what do I need to change in my life?"

I Obey Gods Commandments and that is Righteous Judgement and I Beware people who don’t 😊❤
Yes, I meant that.
My part is precisely and only to listen to my spouse. Bottom line. That is their part, too.
Yes, and if I start judging someone, now I ask myself: what are they showing me that I have to accept or overcome in myself?
