Nice review as always. I have an earlier 2023 model of this laptop with the 13th gen i7. The internal layout of this one looks identical to mine, which means there should also be a 2nd m.2 SSD slot under the cable below the fans. Not sure why Acer doesn’t advertise this, as it seems to be present on a lot of their recent laptops. I discovered it by chance on a random Chinese teardown video here on youtube of a similar model. Anyway it’s worth knowing if you want an easy way to expand your storage with a 2nd drive.
Thank you, Andrew for this review. I'm glad Acer has reached out to you, again, to do reviews of their laptops. Good numbers, all around. I used an Acer Chromebook, many years ago, and thought it did well. They were very good in customer service. Thanks for the hard work. My best to you and your family.
Excellent review Andrew of the Acer Swift 16 AI - 3K OLED 120Hz + LUNAR LAKE, it has an excellent screen, the performance is balanced, the webcam is excellent, the final analysis of the laptop is well within the objectivity in the user experience of similar models, if you have strong points and others not but they are within the acceptable, it maintains a good price vs quality or performance ratio, very grateful for this review, greetings

The Acer Swift 16 AI seems to be a good laptop. I love the all metal build design, the 3K OLED display with120Hz, the decent port selection, the 1440p webcam with good video and audio quality, the battery, decent sounding speakers even though the Asus sounds better but that's because the Asus has a quad speaker setup while the Acer is just stereo, the SSD and wifi card are replaceable if you need to. I really don't see an issue for me that would make me turn this down. So for me, the Acer Swift 16 AI is definitely worth your consideration. Thank you Andrew!! 👍😁
whats up andrew i had this model it was nice but 3 flaws for me the keyboard backlight and the speakers and when you raise the brightness really not a big difference but it is nice thou also hp sent a new bios for the new spectre bios f.11 big performance improvement
Great review! I expected a bit more of Lunar Lake in the graphics department based on their marketing, but it seems like it's still a bit behind the Ryzene HX370. Still, competition is good!
Hey Andrew I recently purchased the lenovo yoga 7i 8th gen. It came with 512 gb ssd. I installed windows 10 on it and was only left with 309 gb of free space. Since when does windows use that much storage?; it's original os was windows 11 and it had 394gb free space. I got windows 10 ftom Microsoft site. No bloatware installed.
Nice pc. Camera is good. Sound is okay. Keyboard layout could be better. Numpad not laid out correctly and it's keys are too small. It needs to be corrected or removed as in its present form it is functionally useless. Display is very good. Great quality review.

Inferior to the Asus in all rsepects. I think I saw it for $900 already on sale at one point so I guess it has that going for it. That screen is like the base iPad. Is the glass even laminated? The reflections look terrible. I wish Acer would step up their game. They've been making mediocre stuff for decades now...
The screen is quite good. Yes, it is reflective which I pointed out and so is the Asus by the way. I think for $200 less and even more when on sale, this becomes an intriguing choice. You are paying more for the Zenbook S16 but you are getting the Ceraluminum lid and gorgeous design.
Apple ruined the laptop game with their M4 lineup. Nothing comes close. If you are gaming then obviously you go with a PC. For everything else Apple just crushed it. This is coming from an avid PC and Android user. No fanboy here. Just telling the truth.
sure, but at the same time that performance comes with a cost. And for how many people is that cost justified? The vasttttt majority of people don't really need anything stronger or faster than an M2, M4 is super overkill for probably 98% of people. Why pay an extra $500 for similar specs and a stronger CPU when you're only using 30% of the CPUs performance?
Hi, Andrew. My absolute favorite award winningTech Guy. I love how much you get into the specifications.
Hey, thanks!

Can you please review IdeaPad Slim 5 Gen 10 (15" AMD) specifically how are the speakers? Witch pc would you recommend to chose of these two? Thanks :)

You can install a larger capacity SSD.
@andrewmarcdavid i agree but this I a brand new laptop is it normal for windows 10 to use 100gb of storage just for the os?
14:54 absolutely worlds apart, yeah you where right they should've ditched the squashed numpad for better speakers 😂
Sound is better on the Asus as I pointed out.

I agree. It's an interesting design choice.
So many OLED screens - probably time has come for PWM check somehow.
What is up with the dislikes?

@@andrewmarcdavid oh wow. The Return RUclips Dislike extension must be seriously acting up. Like OP, I was confused when I saw the ratio.
This laptop could be better if it has stylus support with 360 hinge
Acer usually decimates others by price
It's a great value proposition.

Yeah this is true, i has to pick up an m4 and ive been using windows for years
I'd get a MacBook if it weren't for macOS which is total garbage for a multitude of reasons. Riddled with UIUX flaws and blatant bugs.
way too glossy
