Someone asked Freddie: "What instrument do you play Freddie?" His answer was "The Audience Darling, the Audience!" I think you just found that out for yourself. Welcome to the world of Queen!

OMG, you haven’t done the official video of Bohemian Rhapsody%?!?! You just have to, it’s something no one should ever miss, just remember it’s 1975…and awesome even today. Before MTV ever came along. And talk about voices!! It’s the song that made me fall in love with Freddie and Queen. Wear headphones for sure!! It’s a real experience. Yes, every time they did anything, they were perfect, live, studio, and Freddie’s voice is a thing to behold each song. I’m glad you’re appreciating this awesome group, the best ever. Enjoy!!

The incomparable Roger Taylor was/is a beast on drums and vocals. He and Brian May are still going strong well into their seventies touring as Queen. All four have been inducted individually in the Song Writers Hall of Fame. John Deacon the bassist wrote Another One Bites The Dust. Live Aid is mandatory and 33 years after Freddies death still is titled as the best live performance in Rock History. Also anything from Wembley 86 is total fire...Tie Your Mother Down, In The Lap Of The Gods, A Kind Of Magic etc ..to infinity. Queen were untouchable live!! ❤️👑🎤🥁🎸🎹

Freddie is indeed pure genius, but Queen as a band is also pure genius - Freddie would have always been great, but the four of them together are what makes their music beyond most other performers. Each instrument is arranged and executed to perfection, and the harmonies of the other three against Freddie’s glorious voice just puts it into the sublime.

I've been listening to Queen for approx 47 years and trust me, if you jump in the Queen rabbit hole, they will come! There have been many great bands with awesome singers, but none like the talent of Queen and the legendary frontman Freddie Mercury. Please start with " Bohemian Rhapsody " a Queenie will never do you wrong, lol Great reaction 👏👑💙🫶

This performance will surely blow your hair back. This is an entertainer, this is a man who puts it all out there and this is a band that is so good, they blend right in with Freddie and support him completely. Roger the drummer is singing all along while playing the %%%&*== out of those drums. This band is top tier and my very favorite. Thank you for your reaction.

Check out Queen’s Live Aid set, 1985. It’s 20 minutes that lives in rock infamy! Live Aid was an all day concert conducted, simultaneously, on two stages (London, Philadelphia) and was broadcast to millions live across the globe to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia. Each act, who performed without compensation, was allotted a 20 minute time slot. Many of the big acts at that time were there. Madonna, U2, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, CSN, Tom Petty, David Bowie and many, many more.
There were good, solid performances along with some that could be considered “phoned in” but when Queen hit the stage they showed everyone how to make the most of their 20 damn minutes!
And, YES to Bohemian Rhapsody (official video).

If you don't know who Aretha Franklin is, I suggest you look her up. Freddie dedicated this song to Ms. Franklin. He loved her style, her voice, and her being.
This is arguably the best live performance in music history.
R.I.P. Freddie, the world misses you 😢😢

Freddie wrote this in tribute to Aretha Franklin. I'm sure you can hear the rhythm and blues and soul. He even said that he wanted to be her. There are even gospel elements. The drum beat toward the end is called a drive in many black churches.
I prefer the version at Milton Keynes. The beginning is the best. It's much different.😊

After you listen to a live performance as awesome as this one you just feel like you been through something & you can’t even describe what it is. Brian May will literally wear you out on guitar……one of the best in the business. Beautiful voice too. John Deacon is my favorite bass player ever. Some of his baselines are other world like. Roger Taylor so unique on drums & in any other band he could be the lead singer. And then there’s Freddie. That’s all you can say and then there’s Freddie. Absolutely positively the best front man whoever lived. Total rock Gods.

Freddie was a huge Aretha Franklin fan . This song was heavily inspired by Aretha . It has a distinctive Gospel sound with the Uniqueness of Queen's epic and un-reproduceable , classically inspired approach to rock music. These guys were TRUE Virtuoso musicians by every measure of the word, and far ahead of their time musically. Freddie is hands down the greatest , most charismatic and talented Front man that Rock/ Pop has ever known !
