MUSEUM INFORMATION - The Tower Museum showcases local history in Derry city Northern Ireland.
LOCATION - Union Hall Place, within the historical city walls, near the Guildhall.
PERMANENT EXHIBITS - The Story of Derry from its prehistoric origins to the present, and An Armada Shipwreck and the home of the Mabel Colhoun collection.
The museum opened in 1992 and has won a number of awards. It covers the political conflict that has affected the history of the city.

Another entertaining video Greg. My late grandfather passed down his coin collection to me, but none as old as the coins you have in your possession now. Good footage of the Tower Museum. I'm not at all familiar with most of Derry's rich history despite working there for many years. Looks like you had a nice day for it!

Thank you. The weather was on my side that day. I've been living here 23 years now and that was my first time there. I was quite surprised at how good the museum really is and I would recommend it.
Ah the coins! I don't know much about them but the coin dated 1694 should be in a museum. To think, that coin was in use when those cannons were in service. It makes me wonder what it's worth besides all the things it was spent on.
