I like the fact that each year Armenia is allowing very talented youth to experiment and try something new. Sometimes it is too advanced for the rest of the audience but it does not stop them to do what they love to do. Ladaniva put out something full of love and passion. Winning was not their primary goal, making art and having fun was. It is a fusion of cultures, colors and subtle ideas. And if the Jury does not see it, hey, Jako has an answer to it: "I am a free person. I will dance, you will watch!"
This is amazing. The instrumental is incredible, her voice is so rich and ethnic, I really love that flute solo, I love its oriental instrumental and how it is mixed with modern production, the vocals are incredible, the lyrics sound very beautiful, this feels very genuine to them and I love that they always do this in ESC, they have an interesting and amazing vibe fashion and music wise, the first time I listened to it I got transported away into another world, I love the vocal arrangement and the production, I love that it is a mix of Western and Eastern, I really love the dancing, the song has such an amazing danceable vibe and it is a bop. I really hope this will be brought to life amazingly on stage and every second is just bliss that I hope Europe will love as well but it could easily go either way because it is very hit or miss for live performances as the semi is a bloodbath and the song is quite messy but televoters like chaos but up the semi is already filled with that. But I feel like this could cut through the noise and qualify this year barely but do much better in the final as it will have a chance to grow on people that way. I love every part of this entry, it is a 9/10 for me. Thank you Hayastan 🇦🇺 ❤️ 🇦🇲!!
Hello Jude, happy to see you! Happy to hear what you think of each entry. You are sooooo good at doing it.❤ As for the song, it is really super-the music is fun, the singer is fun, the video is fun, everything else is fun here. No one can deny this. It is not important whether the song will win or not. I am sure it will give positive emotions, good feelings and high mood, things that we all need nowadays. Thank you Armenia! Thanks Jude!
i looooooooove this one. it's just such a vibe, it takes me to Armenia, it makes me so so so happy. i hope they bring an extended version to Malmö, i literally want this song to continue as long as possible. their back catalogue is so good too!
Jude, you pack your bags and hop on a plane. We'll love to have you back here. Make it a summer trip too because summers here are beautiful, delicious, and fun - concerts, festivals, very interesting holiday celebrations. Did I mention it's the most delicious season here?
Not my type of music but maybe it should be 😍 Jako is so good, Armenia really do serve year after year and I love them for it. It’s so qualifiying and I’m excited to see it live ❤
Hiya Jude! 😊 FYI Ladaniva is known as a WORLD music & songs group based in Lille France, with an emphasis on Armenian songs. They aslo have other group members, who are not participating in this Eurovision entry. If you listen to their discography, you will sense the vibes of their songs. They have also composed French songs & covered worldwide folk songs. This is a Serbian folk song called "Ajde Yano," ruclips.net/video/Z-IBnZ8eaDM/видео.htmlsi=pg3pafZVcxVBeeb5. A lot of their songs are upbeat & happy for dancing. However, they also do have some slow, melachonic folk songs which they have covered from various countries. This will give you a different side to their songs & this one is Armenian (a cover of a song 14 yrs ago), performed in Yerevan. ruclips.net/video/1VGussneC8Y/видео.htmlsi=soIVse667u8C1udz There's also this slow, Armenian folk song from the '80 which they covered. ruclips.net/video/jgwInM9Y8Tc/видео.htmlsi=13V7YoX9lwLNfzmR Both these songs give me goosebumps, because when you can understand the lyrics & song meaning, it stirs up emotions in you. :) This is also experimental music & sounds, which they practise using any objects to combine their creativity. ruclips.net/user/shortsYiI8SKuflD0?si=fonKlju993o4oSmn
I will be pleased if it was on the national final preformance on the stage in the final preformance and I really like the song and it’s got areminan vocal vibes and this is a disco party hit and I really like the instrumental vibes and the instruments and if she does win the final preformance let me know if she was and I really love the song and also with the melody vibes and it’s a bulcan vibes and it’s acoustic and with brightful colours from Geoff Uk time
This group is well known for their multicultural mixes, where they reflect the cultures of different countries along with the Armenian one.❤ Thank you ❤ Have a fun with Ladaniva 🥳🇦🇲
Very much in the same lane as the song shalaxo. They like to mix Elements from different cultures what i can spot is jaklin using indian singing techniques her singing style is not arm at all, the trompet is very balkan sounding and the song again sounds a lot like shalaxo.
@ user-gt5 Armenia has many talented Jazz instrumentalists & singers in Yerevan. This genre is very popular, with a lot of older & new bands forming, which also compose their own original music & songs. There is a very vibrant scene of Jazz esblishments, which have popped up in the last 2 decades.. There can be expensive, classy cabaret, restaurant & bar venues to the polar opposite of undergrouund, cellar like venues. The Jazz scenes are very vibrant & buzzing in Yerevan city! They're usually packed out & real crowd pleasers. There's not much of a chance not to hear at least jazz piano playing music, drifting outside of venues, while just walking around, ouside at night. :)
