Thanks Derek and well done. I struggled with the MyGormlessID approach, where do they find these programmers? I found your explanation pretty succinct, but the key was to visit the ABRS site. From another RUclips vid this was a missing step as it was done via the ATO portal - and that created huge issues.
Thank you Derick. For me this video answers my unanswered questios to my so called profesional advisers. being 2 accountants, 2 book keepers and 1 run of the mill tax declaration agency. I give a big like for your bravery to make a comment (14:45)about our political status with all this . I am on that page as well. One day we may have to be very brave in deed to make such a comment. Keep on mate keep on.
Hasn't the Corporations Act 2001 been repealed? I believe it has been replaced by the Legislative Instruments Act of 2003 Section 32 which I can not find.
@@TwelveAccounting I know the Proclamation Certificate has been repealed and in its place is Section 32 of the Legislative instruments Act 2003. I was under the impression that if a Proclamation Certificate was repealed The Act would not be Lawful.

Hi Derek, hoping you can help me 😬 I’m the president of a primary school P&C Association and am having trouble getting clarification on this - our name shows up on the acnc list Thanks in advance Debbie
You will need to check if you are an Incorporated or an unincorporated charity. Incorporated charities are usually operated through a Limited by Guarantee company and will require the directors to have an ID. derek
This is evil. First step to digital ID. Next it will be the employees and then nationwide
Explanation is so clear , very useful. Thanks !
How about one director owns two companies? Is it the same number only apply for once?
Yes. The ID number belongs to the director. only need apply once. derek

There has been some amendments to the 2001 Act over the years, but i believe the Corporations Act 2001 is still the current legislation. derek

If persons cannot register due to faulty system precluding you from registration, ensure you make an online complaint to the Commonwealth Ombudsman.
@@judithdavison8230 you can do a paper application. derek
Thanks Derek, just registered :)
Awesome, thank you for making this.
So helpful, my accountant doesn’t want to explain to me
