I don't exactly know what it is about you, but I will literally watch anything you do. Whether you deep clean a toilet, brush your teeth or just go for a drive around the block! Something about you is so pleasant and inviting, and makes it feel like you're talking and hanging out with a good friend 😌 💕
“Usually the videos I care about the least go completely viral” is a moment of marketing gold! So true! People sniff the desperation of a video doing well from miles away
I love the silence of snow…how it absorbs sound and makes the air so sharp and clear. Growing up in a very industrial area near London I always appreciated the sudden onset of quiet, a bright white view out of the window instead of the perpetual grey, and like you, the opportunity to slow down and hibernate. Wearing layers and sleeping under extra blankets always felt so comforting compared to the uncomfortable heat of summer. It makes me feel sad that we rarely get thick snow anymore 😞 It’s nice to see someone who gets as excited to see snow as I do 😀
I clicked this thinking, meh day in the life of a creator- probably gonna be boring but I love Elyse let’s see what she’s got. The second you introduced me to your robot friend, the music, then the temperature, I knew it was going to be a peaceful and enjoyable video. Thank you for sharing with us! Take care of yourself 💛
Elyse, I was recently diagnosed with adhd at 38 years old and have spent a lot of time learning more about my brain and trying to forgive myself for past actions. When you said “that’s just how my brain works” it resonated with me in a way that nearly brought me to tears. Thank you for being you ❤
That's awesome that you stopped to "correct" yourself to be more positive. When I am being extra negative and grumpy, I try and do the same thing of finding the good in my day and life even when things are going really not so great. Hugs!❤😂
New englander here: I love snow. I love my obligations getting cancelled. I love the coziness. In New England you go to bed worried about some project due the next day at school and unexpectedly: SNOW DAY and all the extra sleep. Tis a blessing. Its saved me many times (mentally)
“Hyperfocus” is just a negative framing of “flow,” which outside of the pathology paradigm of neurodivergence is generally considered not just a good thing, but a crucial part of creativity.
It's frequently negative for me! I hyperfocus on something that is 'too messy' and deep clean something rather than sleep or shower or eat😅 people say hyperfixate.. but that seems the same to me?
ADHD hyperfocus is different than flow, it's being fixated and stuck on something and you can't make yourself break away and do something else. It's an accelerated and dysregulated overuse of energy in a relatively short time, it can often lead to a big energy crash and burnout over time.
While I've done some great work while hyperfocusing/hyperfixating, it can also be dangerous. I can forget to eat or sleep because nothing is more important than the thing I'm doing. It is responsible for some of my biggest highs and lows. To me it is neither good nor bad -- just a factor of my life.
It was chaotic and so heartwarming. And if you ever feel bad people didn’t watch just think that someone *might* have watched about 80 percent of your content in three days after imagining you are my hyperfocused ocd spirit twin. Thanks for all the effort. ❤
As a creative person, I agree with you entirely... the ability to "hyper focus" while creating (often called being "in the zone") is essential for creative success. It feels good to be completely immersed in the creative process while making something. I really enjoy watching your process. Thank you for sharing it.
Hi Elyse! I loved when you chose to counter your negative self talk. instead of saying, "I'm going to spend the whole day cooking and nobody is going to see this", you said something like "the video is gonna be great and everyone is gonna love it!" Taking your initial negative thoughts and reframing them into "positive" ones is great! I do have a couple of ideas, for if you wanted to dig a little deeper. And that would be to acknowledge and accept that you cannot know how your video will be received by others. It could be great, and everyone will love it! It could also be a video that simply doesn't get as much traction or attention as some of your other videos. BUT you won't know until it happens, and you can't control it. What you *do* know is that you will have a good time making it, you will learn something new, you will be growing in your creativity, you will feel proud of yourself once you're finished (etc. etc... could be any number of things tbh). Just some stuff I've learned in DBT. Anyway, I just got to the end and I loved your video! Thanks for all that you do. Your videos and shorts really do make my days brighter.
Love your content! My favorite part of this video is seeing you put solo cups in the dishwasher. Makes me think of college! Don't ever stop being you! Thanks for letting us into your world.
Yesssssss. The rest that the snow brings is similar to the rest I feel with the end of daylight savings. I actually love the darkness in the winter, which i know others hate. But as someone with adhd it brings more calm for my body than the summer when the sun is up until 9:45…..I need the darkness to signal to slow down and be still
Your joy about snow makes me so happy! I grew up with snow, and that's how I feel about it. I love the feeling of a crisp snow-filled day when you walk outside.
I truly believe that if you lose track of time while doing something then you are doing something your body & brain loves. I wish I’d gone back to school for coding - when I’m problem solving the hours fly by. Years ago our computer cracked but I spent the next 7 days working until I got it back up & running. It was frustrating & euphoric at the same time. Probably b/c it was something 8 could do that many people couldn’t & I like that. Then you should see me during tax time but then I love diving into something & getting lost in time.
Thank you for sharing your truths. You bring me smiles, joys, good vibes, tears, laughter, true life, dancing & cooking tips. Alway a delight. You our making this 70 year old sister friend from Minnesota very happy. You are not alone with the many challenges you face BUT I LOVE😊 your adventurous spirit. I believe that to experience deep joy you have had to experience deep sorrow. I would not give up the great pain & loss in the life because I have heard the angels laugh & loved & been loved. I wish you continued happiness. Life is good.🌷
Dude, thank you. I appreciate how much effort you put into these videos solely for our entertainment, even though as you mentioned, sometimes the algorithim doesn't even push the video so most people don't have the privilege of viewing the miraculous content. And yes I say miraculous because dammnit are your videos fantabulous. You make me feel not so alone on this floating rock, and make me feel better about a majority of the thoughts what are floating around in my squishy organ of knowledge 😂❤ much love from Austin, TX. ♡♡♡ P.s. "the pink stuff" cleaning product is the only thing i have found that actually removes the white cast that happens on those electric stoves! I saw you were also dealing with that issue so i thought id mention it.😅
I think the best thing about the snow is when the streetlights hit fresh fallen snow it sparkles like glitter. The yard, street and sidewalks are covered with sparkles!
I also grew up in California and moved to a snowy place - I *completely* understand that first snow magical feeling (well, for me it happens with every snow, but is extra special the first of every year), even a decade and a half later. ❄️☃️💙
I kinda loved the middle of the video, where you tackled your intrusive thoughts, and completed this entire video nevertheless. It was that moment at 04:45 something, that made me watch the entire thing! Good job, Elyse!!!
I think snow is beautiful! I love it! I love different seasons, different weather. I live in Florida where we have hot, less hot, and a couple months of cold.
I feel the exact same way that you do about Snow because I also grew up in California! I’m in northern Kentucky, where we don’t get much snow and every time it comes it feels like a beautiful miracle
I love your explanation of why you love the snow so much.💜❄️ I agree. It’s a time to slow down, peek out the window, enjoy the beauty, stay cozy inside, unless one really wants to go outside; bundle up and feel the cold air against one’s face.☃️ ~It seems when there is a big snowfall at night, there is a nice, big blanket keeping me extra warm and cozy. I sleep so soundly. 🛌 👍🏽 ~I have been enjoying your content for a long while. -Thank you for all your hard & creative work.💕
I was scrolling through RUclips Shorts and I came across your channel it was your "Executive Disfunction At Its Finest Short". I laughed so hard that I had to show my family. Now, the problem for me is I haven't been able to get any work done. I seem to only have time to binge watch your shorts and videos.. They are the best Elyse....You are sooooooo funny! Thank you!!!!😊
Your content is always so relatable-ly chaotic to me but also oddly calming at the same time. Its the perfect mix for my brain. Thank you. ❤ 4th time watching this vid on repeat.
I'm from Northern Minnesota, lived in Colorado. 120 degree difference in temperature between summer and winter. Colorado was too moderate. I love winter up here. You articulated my feelings about winter season being an invitation to slow down. It's magic really. I absolutely adore all of your content and I LOVE this video. For real.
I also get hyper-fixed on tasks - I find it hard to leave a sequence incomplete. I'm from Brisbane and I wished it snowed! I love seeing on the Gillmore girls the first snow and the joy it brings, it was great seeing you have the same reaction. I'm in a crazy season of life right now and I'm holding onto the truth that "sometimes you win some, lose some and win again" lol. Thanks for being relationship and encouraging. It made a difference in my day today!
As a California girl living in Nebraska and Kansas, I have the EXACT same feeling about snow and so many people think I'm crazy! I go outside when it's cold (even the negatives) and it brings me joy!
Omg I’m one minute in and so relatable! I’m from Florida, and the first snow I ever saw was in Omaha and my goodness. I’ll never forget being in a gas station parking lot dancing around in it, laughing, recording myself “Omg it’s SNOWING OH MY GOD OH MY GOD” I’ve rand over while crying a little. And the way people looked at me with so much confusion. 😂 Thank you for taking me back to that moment!
Holy cow lady! Watching you made me exhausted! I had no idea how much work, I mean I knew it took work...but the breadth of it, I didn't realize. I stumbled onto you via a post by someone I follow, he was quite upset with you having been made upset. You do you, girl. You're doing something right, look at your following! Keep your beautiful chin up!
im glad i checked this one out today, i needed the reminder im so not alone in my hyper focusing the smiles & chuckles i had from watching where sprinkle's om the top
I live on the east coast in the state of GA so I definitely understand your excitement over snow! Im 31 and have only seen snow maybe 3 times in my entire life but usually its just flurries.. there was one time a few years ago where it snowed pretty heavy and I immediately ran outside to play in it lol
You are just the most relatable woman in the world. Your children are going to grow up to be the coolest people. You’re so awesome Elyse, you make me (a fellow awkward bean) feel slightly less odd and very much less alone. Keep being wonderful x
Elyse!!! This was great to watch. You brought a little joy into my day. I appreciate all your hard work. You are always a winner in my book. Keep on shining.
you’re ability to go all the way with everything you do is astounding amazing and inspiring. i don’t know how you do it but i promise it does NoT go unnoticed. you’re literally insanely talented and such a cool person and so just amazing.
Being new to the era of TikTok, I had no idea how the behind-the-scenes looked or how you made the videos. Thank you for making some amazing video and I see how much work it is for. Just a very small video! Thank you,Elyse 😊❤
I lived in Minnesota for 10 years. And LOVED snow sooo much !! I get this and it’s so fun to have a quiet February afternoon of. Nothing to do and nowhere to be
I do teeny tiny content creating in reels (for my other channel), and they are rarely seen. But I watch them often because they are my humor! Sad for algorithm but I do what I like, so win?!
I also grew up on California and when I moved to Oregon I got so excited to see Autumn colors and snow flakes and definitely spring blooms, and summer. Seasons, the visual notice of times passage and rhythm of rest and energy. Totally understand!
“Shoosh away the the home trimmed hair” favorite part of the video!!Love all of your content!!!Thank you for creating and making the world a brighter place!!
The value and helpful add-ins of your videos are amazing! Little chart on the side of what things are in the video-beautiful! Mind map of how you’ll be doing the videos-so helpful! Your attention to detail makes even the seemingly mundane shine ❤
Elyse .... I get ALL of your humor and it is WONDERFUL and please never stop being YOU!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Don't change ANYTHING EVER 💛💛💛 YOU'RE HILARIOUS AND AWESOME!!!!!
😂I died at the entire visual storytelling of If You Give Elyse A Cookie ahahahha absolutely FANTASTIC🎉🥂 and let me tell you, this video did not answer my one burning question from 2020 and your wrapped reel/tt: WAS THE WHIPPED COFFEE GOOD?!! 😂 Thank you so much for taking us with you and for your hours of editing during this time off❤
I LOVE this!! I LOVE YOU!!🤗💖 You are one of the few content creators I like the video immediately before it's even begun because no matter what I know I will like it. You're amazing. Please keep being you💖💖💖
When I moved from LA to NYC I was exactly the same about seasons. I LOVED it!! I feel you on that. I always say that to my friends from So Cal when they are soooooo pro CA. I LOVE SEASONS!!!
I prefer the longer video format. Loved this one for sure. Thanks for showing bts, always a favorite of mine as well. Ur the best, Elyse! The realest, the funniest, the flippin cutest and have the best hair. U Rock 🪨 🤩 luv u 🤟🫶🥰✨
OMG you are describing my first winters here in ND as a reformed Californian! I always tell people "we don't know what winter is in California". My sons birthday always consisted of a special trip to the mountains for snow. Snow is now an everyday adventure in ND and we have no mountains 😢
I love you so much and hold you so dear to my heart - even though you don't know me. Lol 🥰 I didn't feel chaos when watching this but I also can relate to why you said that. I do the same thing - at least what you described about focusing is the same as how I would describe it. :) I know we don't get to see every part of your life and it's absolutely NOT easy but I still have so much respect for you and you give me so much hope. I know I'm unique, different, and weird - I've finally learned to truly love those things about myself. I'm working hard on myself in many ways, many journeys, and many chapters in my life all at once but my goal is to ultimately create as you do so people can see the real me and I believe in having this work that is separate from who we sometimes "have to be" is going to be a HUGE part of living my life to the fullest. Thank you Elyse for sharing so much with us and working as hard as you do to bring so much joy into our lives. I wish you all of the pure happiness & laughter in the world! 🤗😁🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
you are amazing 🌟 i’ve been feeling many tough things lately, and this really helped me feel less alone. thank you for being exactly as you are. i’m so grateful you’re on earth while i’m here too 🌱✨🦋
These longer-formed RUclips video and especially your behind the scenes are always some of my favorite of yours. Inspiring as always and Keep being awesome Elyse!
I’m from California and on East Coast now and every time it snows it still feels special … I always think “it looks like I’m inside a snow globe!” which is a weird thought to have since a snow globe is supposed to replicate snow, not the other way around… but I had experienced snow globes long before I ever saw actual snow so that’s where my brain goes.
As someone who has always been in a seasonal climate, I never noticed the change in pace during winter. That being said, now that you've pointed it out I realize that I deeply appreciate it.
Elyse, Out of nowhere one of your videos popped up and I decided to give it a look. I am so glad I did. You clicked with me and I understood all of what you said and what you didnt even have to say. You will an absolute divine part of my life now. Thank you.❤😊
This was my favorite thing to watch in the history of ever watching anything! I'm crying!!!! I feel like I am you, which made this video both insanely relatable and also painful-laugh funny. Thank you so much for sharing this day-in-the-life and for all the perfect details you added to it!
I don't exactly know what it is about you, but I will literally watch anything you do. Whether you deep clean a toilet, brush your teeth or just go for a drive around the block! Something about you is so pleasant and inviting, and makes it feel like you're talking and hanging out with a good friend 😌 💕
I think it might be because Elyse is so genuine. ❤
Saaaamee!!
I was born and raised in Illinois and I still love the snow... It's magical and we don't see much magic as adults!!!
It makes me feel sad that we rarely get thick snow anymore 😞 It’s nice to see someone who gets as excited to see snow as I do 😀
I love the quiet too!
Thank you for being you ❤
You have such a magnetism about you. Thank you for being authentic.😊
Excellent point about snowy weather. Everything slows down, your body and mind and family schedule. Love that.
I’ve never seen ‘hyperfocus’ as negative. Nothing is as glorious as hyperfocus 🙌
Hyperfocus is an accurate description of what happens when all our energy is focusing on one task at a time. It's not negative terminology.
What??? Who would do that????
😏😏😏🤫
I just started a RUclips channel for cash management and entrepreneurs , and I have so much ideas. Do you want to hear them
definitely not me.
same same
@@alyssacorexcoresomeone who enjoys Elyse...
Yay, Elyse content! Taking a work break to rest before diving back in and this video is the perfect pause.
Snow is literally the most beautiful thing, and the quietness it brings with it is magical.
You could make a vid commenting on paint drying and ppl would still watch it ❤️ you're such a great entertainer and creator!
it is so fantastic to see the actual behind the scenes as they unfold. Thank you for this insight to your amazing productions.
As a creative person, I agree with you entirely... the ability to "hyper focus" while creating (often called being "in the zone") is essential for creative success. It feels good to be completely immersed in the creative process while making something. I really enjoy watching your process. Thank you for sharing it.

I’m from the PNW. I love the snow, it’s all new when it happens. Been living on the eastcoast now for 15yrs.
Elyse!!! This was great to watch. You brought a little joy into my day. I appreciate all your hard work. You are always a winner in my book. Keep on shining.

LOVE this long form of content! 🫶
Exactly how I feel when it snows in OR. Leaving CA has been so healing. Can't wait to have more non-summer winters. You are amazing Elyse. 🤗

Loved it. I’d forgotten you have a RUclips channel and I’m so excited to watch all your content on here!
The value and helpful add-ins of your videos are amazing! Little chart on the side of what things are in the video-beautiful! Mind map of how you’ll be doing the videos-so helpful! Your attention to detail makes even the seemingly mundane shine ❤
I love the pure chaos this video brings ❤
Seasons are intriguing to those if us who aren't used to having them!! I love snow too. It evades me though. 😮
Elyse .... I get ALL of your humor and it is WONDERFUL and please never stop being YOU!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Don't change ANYTHING EVER 💛💛💛 YOU'RE HILARIOUS AND AWESOME!!!!!
I cannot explain the joy and actual out loud laughs that I had watching this video! I loved it! Great work all around!!❤
I have lived in a season climate with snow in the winter and the first snow fall is magical❤
😂 Thank you so much for taking us with you and for your hours of editing during this time off❤
I need to know if the whipped coffee was good 😂
@@Kgreen1doesn’t it look AMAZING?
Your energy is never wasted! I appreciate it all!
Your work makes me so happy… ❤
Loved the video Elyse! I watched all the ads, and I hope you continue to make the income you need to to create content full time. You're amazing!
I totally understand. I grew up with seasons and moved to a state where there really isn't any change. I miss winter.
I love you so much and hold you so dear to my heart - even though you don't know me. Lol 🥰 I didn't feel chaos when watching this but I also can relate to why you said that. I do the same thing - at least what you described about focusing is the same as how I would describe it. :)
I know we don't get to see every part of your life and it's absolutely NOT easy but I still have so much respect for you and you give me so much hope.
Every video that you put out is a gift. Thank you for your time and efforts. You make a massive difference in Folks' lives. ❤
you are amazing 🌟 i’ve been feeling many tough things lately, and this really helped me feel less alone. thank you for being exactly as you are. i’m so grateful you’re on earth while i’m here too 🌱✨🦋
In the montage, the edits timed to the beats of the song is 😚🤌
I honestly didn't know that you had a podcast.
I'm 100% gonna go check it out.
These longer-formed RUclips video and especially your behind the scenes are always some of my favorite of yours. Inspiring as always and Keep being awesome Elyse!
Watching this just made me super motivated! Thank you ❤
I’m from California and on East Coast now and every time it snows it still feels special … I always think “it looks like I’m inside a snow globe!” which is a weird thought to have since a snow globe is supposed to replicate snow, not the other way around… but I had experienced snow globes long before I ever saw actual snow so that’s where my brain goes.
Please make more videos like this because we really love them
I love day-in-the-life videos! And I especially loved watching this one. Thanks for showing us what really goes into your content.
YOU are just the cutest person EVER! I appreciate your joy in creating things and sharing your life with us.
I just started a RUclips channel for cash management and entrepreneurs , and I have so much ideas. Do you want to hear them
I felt the same way when I moved to Connecticut after living my entire life in Florida. The snow always amazed me.
Don't ever stop doing what you do! You inspire us all!❤
Oh I love behind the scenes videos so much! Thank you for sharing!!!!!! Love seeing how your mind works!
Just wanted you to know, I really enjoy watching your channel. You are an amazing person and I find you very relatable and fun to watch! Thank you 😊
As someone who has always been in a seasonal climate, I never noticed the change in pace during winter.
