case is type 3a bismuth hilar cholangioca with rt hepatic artery involved. patient is planned for rt trisectionectomy. is it safe to do rt portal vein embolisation ? if yes what is the chance to having acute rt liver ischemia ?

You can do portal vein embolization. Chance of ALF is practically not there. BASIS - Same concept for which we do sequential Transarterial chemoembolization followed by PVE for HCC. So, it's feasible to do PVE in cases with arterial involvement.
