Hi Syb! I've been a Sims creator for a while now, having experience in Objects, Build and CAS items (I'm Mathcope at TSR), I can say this is not only good for beginners but also for more experienced users, I'm still learning a lot from you! I trully love your work here and everything you've been uploading to the channel. Please keep it coming!
I'm trying to learn how to make cc -- the excitement I felt when I clicked on this video and saw it's by one of my fave creators!!! So excited to get to learn from you! Thank you for showing the whole process, this is EXTREMELY helpful.
Hi ! There are already some tutorials that cover the very beginning, so I'd rather focus on things that are not yet explained. You should check on youtube aswell as the S4S forum. Maybe I'll go for it later but I have some more important tutorials to make before, hope you understand ^_^
You can add a roughness channel to your wood layer if it’s not there already when you click back on the wood layer and not on the mask to lower the roughness without having to add a new layer.
@45:34 could a person make the middle geometry and the end geometry for the pillow and then command the two géométries to meet/merge so the pillow is more round and fluffy? Then mirror the other side and join them? Because it looks très difficile faites-le perfect.
Amazing tutorial. I’ve tried to make a chair but it has weird shadow on it. Someone told me it’s because of the shadow uv map and object uv map are overlapping each other, but I don’t know what they’re. I was just wondering if you intend on making tutorials on uv map, I find them very hard to learn?
Hi ! Yes, it's actually mu next one to come. If you need help with your chair, dn't hesitate to join my discord so I can help you fix it ! discord.gg/SKYm65nD
Hi,syb. Thanks for you tutoria! I made a chair cc following your vedio.i colored it in blender, not sp.When in blender ,there are some highlights on the edges of the wood legs,it looks pretty nice. But when i jump in game, the highlight disappeared. I put your chair in game ,too.I can see highlights on your chair. How can i improve my chair?should i paint the highlights with photoshop?
Yes ! Lot of creators actually makes their textures in photoshop. You can export the UVlayout from blender to help you define the island and manually add whatever details you want :)
Hi, how did you do for the informations to show on the normal map when you exported it ? I can’t figure out how to make it work and i looked on ytb on how to do it but i don’t find anything helpful, i love your work and i started doing cc, wish i can be as good as you 😊
I don't know of any tutorial ! They are like any other item, except they have the very difficult particularity of sharing the same UV for all the different part. If you are new to cc making, I DO NOT recommend doing counters: they are among the most difficult items to make, and the most tedious too!
@@Syboulette Thank you Syb, very very new. I've only ever converted some sims 3 items and nothing big like a bed or appliances. I'll hold off for a bit until I get the hang of the easier stuff. I get carried away in my head of what I want to see some times.
Hi! I have a problem, the eges wont become rounded. at 26.03 min, the angle won`t become rounded with the rest, just makes some weird edges, the problem is just at the arm where the angles meet, can`t seem to solve it, anyone got the same problem?

Do you know of any, or would you be willing to do a counter tutorial? I'd love to make a tuscan type kitchen but have no idea how to do counters.
