Don't have it yet, but i have seen it in person and it is INCREDIBLE
I just got Revo 4, and i have to say i love it. Dont listen to the haters that say you wont see every program on the video. Some programs are only awaileble while in random mode. After one hour on im pretty sure i've seen every program. The lights are awesome, higly recomended with smoke.machine. You get insane effects. By far the best light-machine in its pricerange. All creds to ADJ.

fantasic pre-programs and one of the better effets that work with LED-it is impressive !
This looks ideal for me, in just wanting the dance floor to be lit up and looking good, for when no one is on it :)

Wow, first of all, thanks for the response! I hadn't seen the TRI series. I'm looking forward to the combination of the TRI technology and the Revo 4 type show! In the meantime, keep up the good work.
Installed this in my frat house. Very impressive. No complaints at all. I will say the unit is bigger than I was expecting. You can tell it was built to last.
One complaint I have is that it doesn't have an on/off switch. You have to unplug it to control power.

I Love this new light.
My REVO III is my favourite light at the moment, but I have to get this one now too. Point this one on the ground, like an old school DISCO dance floor and my REVO III on the ceiling, as usual.

@djnick37 - Nick, we simply put the Revo 4 in show "0". The Revo 4 offers a large variety of random programs. We recored 20 minutes of footage and edited down the video to a few of the programs. We were not intending to false advertise, nor has American DJ ever attempt to do this.
djbenjinyc - thanks for your comments. ADJ does have other LED lighting solutions outside of RGBW beams. Check out the X-Move LED, X-Scan LED, H2O LED. We also have our TRI Series LED products that produce 7 colors.
Reply to your comment at 0.43 sconds into the video -it does say that this is just going through all the built in light shows -so you dont need a a controller to re create the exact show -but you can DMX it with 512 protocol to select each scene or you can use the hand held AMDJ -that will black it out - or selact any scene and is a lot less coplicated than DMX 512
@myselfmee - This light would be a good choice for that size of a floor. As far as the carpet, it will show but if you have a lighter shade of carpet, it would bring out the endless mix of vibrant colors a bit more.

Thanks for your feedback. The Revo 4 runs random shows when it's in soundactive mode, so that's no problem. Only in sound mode OFF it will do nothing. When i choose show 0 (random), hit enter and then the menu button for 3 seconds it jumps to the mode when it's waiting for music, the mode were you see all the dots. And that's weird...because the revo is in sound mode off so it will do nothing. The mic by the way works perfect when i tap on the revo so thats no problem. Thanks!

It's absolutely beautiful! I am just frustrated with LEDs that only do Red Green Blue and White beams - I think that people on the dancefloor are starting to notice the lack of color depth that they became accustomed to.
i use my revo 4 on the ceiling...awesome effect and the crowd loves it!
i have a video on my youtube channel of it. you can creat sequence using your dmx mixer. i love this fixture!

I've seen this on my Revo 4 as well as my Revo III. You will see a big difference in the effects/programs it will run if you hook it to a DMX controller and then run it sound active. No idea why that is, but that's how I do it and I have seen a difference.

I just got a Revo 4 and I can say that I have seen (on default 0) at least 20 different animations. Now about having to program it, that might be true, but I have seen most of the patterns/chases in this video for myself.
Hi adjlighting, I too have this light and hav'nt seen half the programs your demonstrating,Is show "O" different to sound activaved mode?
Is this video showing it as if you just turned it on and let it go or do you have to program it to change patterns constantly like in this video?

i bough 2 of this revos 4 but i cant controll them the way the video has shown how can i get the best out of them .. im using a dmx but do i need a adj uc3 remote control? and what number do they use in a dmx i know the first one is 1 but what number do i put in the seconf revo for dmx controlling ? i would appreciat e your answer thank you

This video show patterns that are missing in all REVO 4 from all clients?
... if everybody say same thing (including me), please tell us where are patterns hidden?
.. or please tell us why is mentioned that the soft is VER. 11 is there posibility to change the software with an new version? .
.. is there something to buy and adapt or change in revo 4 to have posibility to run custom patterns?
please make an movie and let people like me to view how was integrated all patterns in this light and with ours responsability if someone who wants to modify the "core" of patterns to have possibilty to change some patterns.
Exemple: I like to make and add my personal patterns and remove instead some of the revo 4. Please talk to your programmers reveal how is made and what we need to make an change.
If there exist posibility to sell an software to do that or an circuit that can be add or some kits with cable betwen PC and revo4 including disassembly the unit and lose the our warranty (that is not so important at this moment) .
Please find an posibility avaible for us the clients (excluding DMX), we want an software like MATRIX EDITOR for this light that can be connect with the light (somehow) For the future please add USB to new REVO5 with an USB port to have posibility to upload new patterns.
If someone reads and can help please do, even if you have used a soldering iron to get out there a chip in there programming, and there is the possibility of selling a device that recreates the chip. I review those programs have invented, I'm sure you can change and I'm sure many people wants it.

Besides... one light is rather boring... 2 lights is good. Need at least 3 for a regular floor if you gave no other lights

Hi,Your video says sound active mode or show "O" I have had this light on for over 4 hours and I still havnt seen half the programs on your demo.
Is there a difference between UK and US models?
The box says UK model but why!!! because you still dont get a UK lead with it ???

@tmorehouse It sounds like the mic is not picking up any noise. Either the music isn't loud enough or the mic is broken. Tap the mic on the back to see if it changes in time with the tapping. If it doesn't then the mic is busted and you need to return to the original store for a replacement.
I've had this light for a few months and I've seen a lot of these programs run through. I used an Elation DMX operator 192 because I wanted to run only certain programs but I can't seem to get what I'm looking for. Is there a way to program it so only certain programs run and not just the 1-12 that the Revo 4 has on the back?
Okay getting one of these... time to retire the Revo 3!
I'm not sure because I don't have one, but I have a program on Linux called Q Lighting, and it has digital controls for the Revo 4 and many other different lights from different brands
@COCODRILO93 I'm pretty darn sure they are using the Hazer machine. Much better than putting out fog. But their fog machines are great too. I have the fogstorm 700 and it sets off fire alarms lol.
@adjlighting Well can you please explain how I get it into show "O" mode ?
I simply turn it on and get "nast" on the display which I believe is short for master.

I just bought a revo 4 a few weeks ago and it doesn't show all these patterns, like the ones shown here in the video, why is that? ive put over 50 hours watching it on show 0 and I dont see half of whats shown here in this video! most of the patterns i havent seen are the reason I bought the thing!!!!

The Revo four looks like a really good lighting unit
hopefully itll last a long time by having no moving parts and LED lamps.

jaker, this Revo 4 was shot in sound active mode. No programming was involved. It has lots of built-in programs.

I have been doing more research on the Revo 4 programing and came across this posted o youtube!
"this is a geat light BUT some of the effects you are seeing are not out of the box programs. although you can use it plug and play, you will need a dmx controller to produce a lot of the effects that you are seeing in this video"

@myselfmee I have a revo rave light (it is similar to the revo 4), and the light looks perfectly fine shining on carpet. I personally have never seen the revo 4 in person, but i would guess that the light is a good size for a 14X18ft space, if it isnt you can always move the light closer or farther away to adjust the size of the projection. I would also recommend that you take a look at the revo rave because it is a very good light and it is also cheaper than the revo 4

Random mode doesn't work. My revo must be in sound off mode to play random shows (show 0) but whatever I try...it will not run a random show...it stays on the way it is when its in sounactive mode while there is no music playing. Revo 4 plays shows 1 till 12 perfect, but show 0, or random mode is no option. Can you help me with this? Everything that's in the manual i tried. Thank you and Kind regards,

It looks like it has similar program to the Accu LED moving head...
I brought one and mine doesn't do all the patterns that are on the promo video. However it still good but not as good as the video.

party11967, No programs were changed. If you put it on Show "O" it will go through all programs. Sometimes you have to wait a bit to see the same programs as it goes through some random pick of all programs.

@1234567891nico There is a 256 chanel mode which allowes you to control every LED seperatly. I recommend you use software with a matrix editor.
